ARCHIVED Super Bowl Recipes
GRUMP 1 replied to pajamama2's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
We use the Hormel Chili so unless they have just recently changed it it is good to go. We heat it up and put Velveeta cheese in it. It is always a hit. But I make home made chili for super bowl every year. One of my sons makes a thing he called Super Nacho's. If I can get him to send me the recipe I will post it. Grump -

While I don't have and never have had any one of my 4 daughters in G.S. I did buy their cookies before going gluten free. I hope your daughter does well in selling these. I love your response to them. Not that it will make any difference in what they do or sell, but they have now heard it. Grump -

So I don't think that would work with what is already in it. But I am liking the hushpuppy idea. gdobson, yes you really need to try these they are GREAT. My wife and son who...

ARCHIVED Gluten Free Hashbrown Casserole Recipe?
GRUMP 1 replied to bakinghomesteader's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
We make a tater tot casserole using ore-ida tater tots, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, and hamburger. We use health valley soup. I try to use more chicken soup then mushroom as it gives it a better flavor I think. Cook hamburger, I season with garlic powder, onion powder, and what ever you want to add. The soup is rather bland so I kick... -
My ex tried it last night when she brought our son home. She said it was good, taste like lefse, and she could not tell the difference. Though she said it was a little think. Hard to get it rolled out right with my rolling pin. Next time I will borrow hers. It is the one her Mom used and is made just for this purpose. Again thank you, Grump

ARCHIVED I Am Plum Crazy...
GRUMP 1 replied to GRUMP 1's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Actually we do use a lot of them for different things. I was just looking for some thing new that some one may have. One of my favorite things to do with them is a smoothie using Plums, Powders coffee creamer, Cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little sugar some times. Put it all in a blender mix and enjoy. Best served chilled. Grump
