I love these bagels........ They are the closest thing to regular ones I have ever had. I eat them all the time toasted with cream cheese on them. Then when we are at the beach we will have bagels, cream cheese, locks, and champagne for a special treat. Grump -

I saw on the news last night where they are now growing peanuts that are safe for those that have an allergy to them. This is great news for them, but when are we going to get our equal time and get some wheat that is safe for us to eat. If they can do this with peanuts then WHY cant they do it with wheat? Just a thought........ Would be nice don't you think...

My son and I finished the boat we have been working on for god knows how many months. We finely got it done on the 30th of June, just in time to go to the beach on the 1st. So we were able to take it with us. There are 3 little lakes there we have been wanting to go out on. The first time we took it out, my son, son-in-law, and my self. We went to a little...

Denny's has a gluten free menu. Or at least they will bring out a list of stuff and go over it with you so you know just what is in every thing. Or at lest the one up north in Bellingham, Wa. did when we were up there. Have not tried it down here yet. That might be some thing you might want to check out also. Grump

Had to stop on the way and pick up my oldest son on the way. He had gotten off work at 2:30am and drove half way to our town to wait for us. Sleeping in his car until... -

Just wanted to say thank you to all that responded to my prescription problem. I was not able to get back to you because I went down hard for the last 3 days. I think partly because of the meds. I was on and partly because I over did it working on the boat my youngest son and I was rebuilding. I am now on a different prescription and have my fingers crossed... -
Sounds interesting, I have never had them with raisins, dry cranberries, chopped nuts, or buttermilk in them. Mother always made them out of the Betty Crocker cookbook and that is what I have been trying to do but using Bob's red mill All Purpose gluten-free Baking Flour instead of wheat flour. But as I said before they just never turn out right. So when...

Wow that would be so COOL........ But do you think it would be worth the drive from the Kelso/Longview? That is about an hour and a half to 2 hours drive for me. But would be so nice to be able to go some where and get some thing nice to eat with out the worries. Let me know if any one else tries it. Grump -

I am using the Betty Crocker recipe and then changing the flour to Bob's red mill All Purpose gluten-free Baking Flour. They taste good but they are about as flat as paper. Double check your Taco Bell brand. I believe it is not safe, or at least their taco seasoning is not. So I would make sure before you eat it. -
