ARCHIVED Winsor Pilates?
Green12 replied to LoveBeingATwin's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
This is strictly my opinion, but several years ago when the Windsor Pilates infomercial first came out I was like you and very interested in trying it. I didn't know anything about Pilates at the time so I had nothing to compare it to, and the infomercial sounded so convincing, like this was what I needed to buy- so I did. I tried all of the videos one... -

I saw several "expelled" when I was doing colonics in conjunction with my chelation treatments. Parasites like the heavy metals and when that is an issue they are hanging around and close behind. It grosses me out to think about it, yet it's kind of quite fascinating at the same time . Donna and Calra, I am SOOO sorry you are still not getting... -

I'm sure a lot of it we can't eat, especially with multiple food allergies, but I do think they have made quite a few things without gluten ingredients. -

You're in the right season Mango The frozen pasta dinners was just an episode or two ago, where they had to recreate their own version of a Bertolli (I believe was the brand) frozen pasta meal. So you just are missing one episode I think. I tivoed this week's and have yet to view it, but I think they had to do a menu for the late night party... -

Hi Carla Good to see you again too. I hope that you get your sleep issues sorted out soon as well, hopefully the combo ot melatonin, l-tryptophan, and valerian will do the trick. I aslo read some people do better with taking the 5HTP out of the capsule and mixing it with water, juice, etc. if it is something you are going to try out. Mabye that maximizes... -

Green12 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Donna, just some thoughts: Is it a case of you taking too much? From what I understand everyone reacts differently with 5HTP supplementation, you might just have to find a dosage that is right for you. I have read that sensitive individuals especially respond better on a smaller dose and some have difficulty with the side effects (mostly stomach issues... -
ARCHIVED Need Help With Banana Bread
Green12 replied to Piesmom's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Try tossing the chocolate chips with the dry ingredients to coat them with the flour and etc., this keeps them from sinking to the bottom during baking and distributes them evenly, then fold in your wet ingredients. -

OMgosh I can imagine how much that burned when you snorted the apple cider vinegar ACV burns my throat when I drink it straight up, yikes, up the nose? You are braver than I , but if it helped and makes a difference then it's worth it. I hope you have success with the nasal spray. The netti pot does make nasal/sinus irrigation easier. When... -

Lara Bars is a brand of nut/fruit bar. Potato chips are an option, although maybe not the healthiest, very good dipped into hummus. Raw veggies like baby carrots, bell pepper strips are also very good dipped in hummus. Also, you can take Food For Life Rice tortillas (there is xanthum gum in them though which is a problem for some people with... -

It literally is a pot. It looks kind of like a genie pot that you rub and make a wish Here is an example: Open Original Shared Link (I am not endorsing or promoting this particular site, it was just the first one that came up in a search that had a good picture to give you an example ) You put a saline solution of salt and warm water inside... -

Green12 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Hi Rachel, good to see you too Speaking of molds in the sinuses have you tried using a netti pot? Has anyone here tried a netti pot? It is supposed to kill all the beasties, as well as clear alergies, in the nasal and sinus cavities like nobody's business. I don't know if you are able to handle salt yet but it's a simple salt + warm water solution... -

This is great, I am always looking for products to try for my curly hair. Thanks for sharing. -
Allergies are the body's abnormal response to the proteins in different foods, but I have also read that peanuts have a very high mold content and some people who have a problem with peanuts are reacting to the mold. But I can't imagine how they can remove the protein from peanuts or any other food for that matter. Maybe it's a genetically modified...

ARCHIVED So Frustrated - I Just Need To Vent - Maybe Get Advice...
Green12 replied to Sweetfudge's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Sorry you are so overwhelmed and frustrated with juggling all of the things you have going in your life. Would it help if you could talk to somebody like a counselor? You mention religion, do you belong to a church? If so you can check with your church to see if they offer counseling services or could refer you to someone. -

Donna, That's interesting what your doctor said about eating before sleep. One of my acupuncturists, who is really into adrenal therapy, also has all his patients doing the same to improve sleep. He suggested eating 5 raw almonds immediately before going to sleep, along with a magnesium ( if one can tolerate it). I guess the ratio of protein and fat... -

ARCHIVED Freezing The Pamela's Chocolate Cake From A Mix?
Green12 replied to dandelionmom's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I have put chocolate cake made with the Pamela's Chocolate Cake mix in the freezer before and I found it held up nicely. I just made the cake in a sheet cake pan/ or 9x13 pan and cut it into squares, then I put them into a tupperware container with wax paper in between layers to help keep them from freezing together. Then when ready to eat I took them... -
ARCHIVED Bare Minerals (essentials) Makeup

I use the bare minerals foundation, mineral viel, warmth for blush, and Ecco Bella mascara, and some lip balm or other lip color. I find you can mix and match, within the Bare Mineral line itself, and with other products easily. Just a reminder, some of the skin prep products (i.e. skin rever upper) have gluten (oat protein) unless the formula has changed... -

Just dropping by to say hello to everyone. I think of you all often and hope you all are doing well, trucking along with the healing process. My health took a turn for the worse and I have been really sick, but I have been trying to make a comeback! Has mia mia been around? I tried to pm her and her inbox is full.
