  1. I am glad you did Nyxie, that's a lot of driving and if you need help you will have it. Plus it will probably be nice to have the company, annoying as it might potentially get, at least you won't be alone. Have a good appt, I look forward to hearing how it goes. *edit- where do you find your avatars, they always make me giggle. So...
  2. You can make sandwich wraps using lettuce leaves for the "wrapper" part, there are all kinds of varieties of lettuce. Layer gluten-free thinly sliced deli meats of your choice, or if you will be making your own meats, with whatever other sandwich toppings you like on top of the lettuce and then roll it up tightly, put into a sandwich baggie and a lunch size...
  3. Hi April, I wish I could grasp it better too. Sorry about your little setback with the galbladder pain Good news folks, I misunderstood about the ASI (Adrenal Stress Index- Cortisol/DHEA) being a spit test. It is a saliva test but you just soak the cotton roll under your tongue until it is saturated (about 3-5 minutes) and pop...
  4. WW340, sorry about the shingles and all the pain you are experiencing. I hope you are not uncomfortable for too long. I don't know if any of you are keeping up with the "news" posts, but I just noticed 2 new ones. I have been checking fequently to see if there was any new news and I sware that the January post was the latest one, for the last 3...
  5. Hope you have a good appt Monday Lisa, good luck with the LED treatment.
  6. Hi Jin, you finally made it Just a word on heartburn, the last 2 years or so I had developed a really bad case of heartburn/acid reflux and it got so bad I got the esophogial spasms. Since I have been taking charcoal regularly it has totally gone away. I would react to even the smallest amounts of my trigger foods, tomato products, spicy foods...
  7. Paula, I am so happy to have Peter Forsberg and Adam Foote back, with Sakic it feels a little like old times.
  8. I apologize Andrea, I missed your post too. I know that was such a scary thing for you all and so stressful. I hope things at work get back to normal for Mitch soon
  9. Rachel, I totally appreciate your personal opinion. Thanks for your input on this. When I saw that thread about Mast Cell Inflammatory/mastocytic Enterocolitis Disease it really caught my attention. From what I understand there are two types of angioedema: One form is mast cell related and causes include: Immunoglobulin E
  10. Just keep in mind, you may not see anything. But I don't think that means it isn't doing any good, a lot of these pathogens are on a microscopic level. Someone mentioned about heartburn increasing after starting the Humaworm. I developed really bad heartburn, the intense esophogus spasm kind, over the last couple of years. Recently, I started to...
  11. That's ok Patti, thanks for trying. I don't see any sign of any group related to celiac, the groups do come and go so maybe Broncobux's group is no longer. It would have been fun to see if some of the older members of the forum who don't come around anymore were in that group. Happy Birthday to your dad. What an amazing thing to celebrate! ...
  12. I hope it stays that way for you too Andrea. It's hard to be so limited in the first place and to have to cut something else out that has been a staple will be a challenge for you all. I am probably going to go off rice for a little bit and see if there is any difference. I don't know Rachel but it sounds like what Kassandra described...
  13. Even when it was reflected in your cart? I thought that is what you mentioned earlier that it showed up in your cart, but maybe I got that confused. Major bummer, WW340, sorry they didn't honor the specials
  14. This thread cracks me up. See Mango how crazy your on-line make up friends are!
  15. Patti, you mentioned that Broncobux had a Celiac group at MySpace....do you know if he still has one? I couldn't find any celiac group actually, but maybe I am not searching in the right place. Are you going away for you Dad's b-day party, or was it an anniversary (I can't remember) that you were asking about invitations in another thread? Bev...
  16. Heavy duty scientificness that is Lisa. How are you feeling?
  17. What about this for a concealer??
  18. Excellent suggestion, can't believe I forgot about this one. Paula just make sure you use good quality water, not the stuff coming out of your faucets.
  19. Sorry Rachel about the chaos at work, it must be that Murphy's Law thing. I was bad 2 weeks ago I had wonderful to die for Italian food from Maggiano's, they can do it gluten-free but not without all the other bad stuff, which makes it taste so darn good. It's not your fault, it's me....and my disconnected brainfogged brain. ...
  20. I know Joni, that reality just comes out of nowhere! I didn't end up ordering, I haven't ordered in a while actually. The specials haven't been that appealing to me so far, and I'm really holding out for NEW COLORS. Hint Hint EM! Well I am glad you figured out what the problem was. I hope they will honor the specials for you. pssst...
  21. Happy Birthday Mango!! I thought the green would be a good color for you, I would do sparkly/glittery if I could I hope you have a special day
  22. Hi Joni, sorry about all you are going through with your health. I hope you find some answers Come back to your on-line make-up friends when you can That' sounds like quite a project Donna. Oh no! That gets confusing. Nothing EM related really to report. I still haven't ordered what's in my cart, I'm...
  23. Paula, I'm sorry. I hope this isn't side effects of the chlorine in the water. I researched chlorine a couple years back and I remember reading that it kills all the beneficial bacteria in the gut so it can really throw off the flora balance, but I don't recall what else it can do.
  24. Thanks for more of the copper scientificness Rachel. Have a good appt today, I'm interested in hearing what your Dr has to say about your results and all of this. Thanks for this link. My eyes kind of glazed over It's very scientific, big words and chemistry, it will require lots of focus. Sherry, I was wondering why...
