ARCHIVED Cookies...for Me?
Green12 replied to amybeth's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Glad you found a product you like. I haven't heard of this brand before, but I will keep an eye out for it in the stores in my area...everything sounds yummy -
Did anything ever come of this? I haven't heard of any kind of event that brings awareness to and supports celiac/gluten intolerance on a national level. It would be neat as a community if we could get something like this going, like a 5k run/walk one day a year.

Just pooping in.... Nikki what a great article about your son't trip. That's so great they were able to make that happen for him and all of those other kids. Hope he is having a fabulous time! Wanted to weigh in on the smoking, or the quitting of the smoking. From what I hear Tom you have to keep your hands busy, but also your mouth, trading... -

There you guys are Judy, I agree. They all look pretty darn good to me considering they aren't dancers. I loved Mario and Kristi the best this week. Mario and his partner I think really interpreted the dance well and Kristi is just a natural driven competitor. Pricilla, Shannon, and Marlee especially all had a difficult night... -

Rachel, I am so sorry you started to have symptoms with the glutathione cream and that you won't be able to continue with it at this time I would assume he means 4 times the amount when he says "fourfold". I am not so sure I understand how copper toxicity is measured, I thought you mentioned before the urine test doesn't give an accurate measurement... -

I know what you mean, anytime I try to do a search on here I get so frustrated I did a quick google search and I found what April and I were discussing before, it's IONIZERS that are supposedly not so great, and may do more harm than good. I had brought up ozone machines, or ozone generators, for her mold problems. I have had one for many years... -

Yeah, our hopes have been dashed far too many times before. We should just expect it to be May 15th Sorry about the stains on your jacket Mango, have you posted on the EM boards about this? Maybe another EM faithful had the same problem and knows a solution. -

First of all, odd that they had a Mariah Carey night when they tell contestants they should never choose Mariah or Whitney songs, but then when they announce her new album comes out tomorrow it all makes perfect sense I actually liked Brooke's performance the least. David Cook just seems to be on an entire different level, what he has done with... -
ARCHIVED gluten-free Bakery/baked Goods In Port St. Lucie, Florida
Green12 replied to kelliac's topic in Traveling with Celiac Disease
I don't know the area but I was just going to mention if there is a Whole Foods there, or near by, you could get the the Gluten Free Bakehouse items, I see you had the same idea My Whole Foods keep all of their Gluten Free Bakehouse baked goods in the freezer to extend shelf life, I don't know if that is the same for all Whole Food stores?? So if... -
ARCHIVED French Fries
Green12 replied to bakingbarb's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I have been making my own oven fries lately, but when I do have them from a package I use Alexia Yukon Gold Jullienne Fries with Sea Salt. Alexia has many varieties of crinkle fries, oven fries, waffle fries, etc, the poster above provided a link to all the products. The Yukon Gold Julienne variety used to be labeled gluten-free, as did some of the others... -

Donna, that website is a little confusing. When it first loads it's all about popular music stuff, in the top right corner it says something like skip to, or go on to vote for the worst. Once you click on that you are directed to the right place. My guess that is what was happening with you because once you skip to that next page there is all American... -

You are kidding?!?! OMgosh you have not had good luck from the start with this lab I hope you get it all straightened out. My Dr is one of them He thinks gluten causes too many problems in the body, gut issues and neurological, outside of celiac or a gluten intolerance and even in healthy well functioning individuals. ... -

I agree with Andrea, baby steps and one thing at a time. If you look at the project as a whole it will look too big too tackle, and way too overwhelming, and so much more stress!! I'm glad to hear you are doing better Patti with the changes you have made, and thrilled that the EM make-up is still ok I found this article... -

Hi Nora, refresh my memory what LDN is....I am totally drawing a blank. Whatever it is I am glad it is helping Paula, I am so sorry you aren't feeling well I would be a little leary about taking a bath without the bathball, surely there is still extra chlorine? Others might have a differing opinion, but I know when I... -

This is so nice what you said about everyone here Jin. Back to your experience with those individuals in lyme chat, some people just don't know how to play nicely, a few rotten apples spoiling it for the whole bunch. Some people are just very opinionated and more than happy to tell you exactly how they feel, no matter if it is hurtful or not. Could... -

I don't know what the percentages are, but many on this board are also casein intolerant. Casein is difficult to digest for those with a damaged intestinal mucosal lining.

Do you get the same symptoms when you eat fresh salmon?? If not I am wondering if it is the processing of the canned fish, or the source? Maybe test out the two and see if you get symptoms both times. If you do then it could be the fat is bothering you or you might have developed a sensitivity to salmon.

ARCHIVED Newly Diagnosed...but Something Doesn't Seem Right. Advice, Please!
Green12 replied to MissySue's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
It really does vary from person to person what their symptoms might be with an allergy or intolerance. I would look at a list of symptoms as a guideline and not necessarily the rule. I don't have a lot of the classic symptoms of celiac disease either (I am most likely gluten intolerant) but I know that when I eat wheat it makes me terribly ill so I go... -
