    Did anything ever come of this? I haven't heard of any kind of event that brings awareness to and supports celiac/gluten intolerance on a national level. It would be neat as a community if we could get something like this going, like a 5k run/walk one day a year.

    I have been making my own oven fries lately, but when I do have them from a package I use Alexia Yukon Gold Jullienne Fries with Sea Salt.     I don't know what the percentages are, but many on this board are also casein intolerant. Casein is difficult to digest for those with a damaged intestinal mucosal lining.

    Do you get the same symptoms when you eat fresh salmon?? If not I am wondering if it is the processing of the canned fish, or the source? Maybe test out the two and see if you get symptoms both times. If you do then it could be the fat is bothering you or you might have developed a sensitivity to salmon.

    It really does vary from person to person what their symptoms might be with an allergy or intolerance. I would look at a list of symptoms as a guideline and not necessarily the rule.
