ARCHIVED What's Your Motivation?
Green12 replied to confusedks's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Other than my expanded backside? I think it might be more difficult to get started and to stick with it if it is a "have to". If you could find reasons to "want to". I look at exercise as a part of my protocol (this might be helpful for your case too K), it gets the oxygen flowing throughout the body, stimulates the lymphatic system, moves toxins... -

Since your daughter has done so well not eating gluten and some serious symptoms have been cleared, that might be proof enough that she should remain gluten-free. I also understand wanting that diagnosis from the GI. I tend to place more value in how a food makes you feel. If there are clearly symptoms...

No, not in your imagination I think the chair throwing/kicking might have been the first sign that this season is going to be a little different..... Having a couple on the show (Zoi & Jennifer) also might have contributed to some extra tension. There are also just a few strong personalities that are already clashing. I like Stephanie... -

Rachel, it sounds like even though you continue to have reactions they aren't taking you down as much or for as long as they did before. Paula, I know you have a difficult decision to make about the house. If you do have a mold problem it could be the thing to keep you from getting well, and the rest of your family could develop more health... -

Hmmm, now I am wondering Janet if the squirrelly guy you were talking about was Spike? The last two weeks have been tense between the contestants, who would have thought there would be so much drama on a cooking show -

Susie Q!!!!!!! I am so sorry you are feeling so funky I would venture to guess you have a legume intolerance, given you have eaten them all week and how you have not been feeling yourself, plus all the gastrointestinal distress.....it's a very good possibility. I'd say eliminate the beans, and all other legumes, and see if the fog clears... -

Correct, chick peas are legumes. If you are eating pintos and hummus all day long, with no gas bomb bloat or Janets darn tootins, I would say you are good to go in the legume department -

Just reading along, I have come to the conclusion that I am going to have to return to eating in this way- just meats, veggies and some fruits. I am struggling terribly with edema and inflammation, a recent hair analysis I had done showed that I am not able to process carbohydrates and I think this plays a big role in all my fluid retention. I have... -

Sarah, one thing at a time is a good approach. Hang in there! Susie, a dvr (if it's the dvr i am thinking of) is a digital video recorder. This phenomenon is happening in new houses too, I have switches all over that don't turn anything on or off Reminds me of that commercial with the husband flipping on and off and on and off... -
