ARCHIVED Top Chef/hgtv Design Star
Green12 replied to Green12's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
Anyone watching the new season of Top Chef? I think I missed the first one (I don't recall that challenge), but I saw the Zoo challenge and the Block Party challenge. -
ARCHIVED How To Turn My Teaching Into A Book
Green12 replied to chefdpm's topic in Publications & Publicity
I don't know anything about any of this or how to go about it, but what about going nationwide with your teaching program to get the word out about celiac eating and special diets- to all the different culinary schools and restaurants?? I don't know how hard it would be to get on the lecture circuit for these schools, but maybe look into that and start... -
ARCHIVED Opening For A Gluten-free Cooking Guide On About.com
Green12 replied to home-based-mom's topic in Publications & Publicity
Me too, that would be so much fun. -
Based on what you say here, I would suggest making your health and your diet your number one priority. You can't function, or work even, when you are sick from reacting to your meals. It will take more time planning ahead and like some mention here some more assertiveness on your part, BUT it will be worth it and make a difference. I would suspect...

ARCHIVED Has Anyone Else Tried Humaworm?
Green12 replied to Nancym's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
It seems I got my order within a week, a week and a half, of ordering. If you don't get it by next week I would maybe contact the company. -
Sorry you didn't have a very pleasant experience Judy. Thanks for that link, I had heard on the news the dye is pretty dangerous stuff.

That's how I was last season, and the season before, I just couldn't get in to it. I think it's hard to stay interested if there isn't anyone you care about or can stand behind, or if your favorite goes early. -

Andrea, I got my amalgams out after I got sick, several years after my MMR. Carla, I thought maybe you had gotten sicker with the flu and was about to post something, then I remembered about your trip to Chicago and Mom's weekend with Morgan. That is interesting that the Humaworm causes a lot of symptoms for you, maybe some of the herbs are more... -
ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!
Green12 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thanks for your input Colleen. I have Rare Silk in my cart, I'm glad to know it has a grayness about it, that's not what I am looking for at all. I'm going to trade it out with Good China right now. That is a really good tip Jess, thanks. -
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I am looking to spend probably $1000+, it's a big purchase so I am doing a lot of research. I found this site that has been helpful: Open Original Shared Link The reason Sole Fitness treadmills are in the lead for me so far is their warranties, which no other company seems to compare, I had a Nordic Track...

Brooke didn't stand out for me at first either, not sure why. But the first Beatles week I took notice, she really is talented. -

Ok, I will make a mental note about the Chamomile. Thanks. -
I would have to agree with Patti, soy lecithin is usually used in products in a small quantity. You can buy a package of soy lecithin granules in bulk at the health food store for around $1

I'm wondering if after the gluten is taken out and inflammation goes down and healing begins to take place if the caffeine has a much stronger effect, not only on the bowels but the nervous system.

Judy, how did it go?

Well, I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt with something, but he seems not to be very deserving all the way around. -
ARCHIVED Everyday Minerals - Great gluten-free Mineral Make-up!
Green12 replied to Mango04's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Thanks for the recommendation of Good China guys, I really appreciate it. They haven't been very speedy about getting their new specials out in the past, this time doesn't seem to be any different. -
I am about to purchase a treadmill and have been looking through reviews. So far I have my eye on models from Sole or Spirit, and Life Fitness. Anyone have these brands? Thoughts or opinions about them? Or suggestions/recommendations for other brands? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

ARCHIVED Omg...i Might Be On To Something
Green12 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Well I don't know what is normal, but I can say that for myself, my mom, AND my brother we were not given antibiotics when getting our amalgams out (and we all went to different dentists, so three different dentists and no antibiotics). That does seem strange, I kind of remember you talking about this before in the thread, way back when.... The anesthesia... -

I would think they could at least narrow the anesthesias (anesthetics?) that they use in their office down to a few. I think the most common ones used are lidocaine and those ending with a "caine". Also: This is the link: Open Original Shared Link The antibiotics- what kind of dental work was it? I assume they... -

That's good to know about the Oasis Colleen, it's one I have but haven't tried yet. Sorry about your lingering cough. My favorites so far are Baby Bath, Ginger Peach, Cypress, and Morocco-- all great for green eyes. For a creamy beige/white brow bone highlighter would you guys recommend Floating Feathers, Good China, or Rare Silk? -

Green12 replied to Rachel--24's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
All of this is very fascinating. Any dental work with anesthesia would bind with the mercury and draw it deeper into the tissue, right? That is if your pathways were stressed and unable to detox that all out? And/or if one is over sensitive to sulfites? I know my head area is a toxic focus, I think Donna's is too. Kassandra, I am getting the... -

I would have to agree about dairy, raw is best if you have to eat it. Also in small amounts, like a condiment. Rachel, your inbox is still full.
