  1. Welcome Stacie Everyone else pretty much answered your questions. I am one that uses Ecco Bella Mascara, have for years and I love it. It has relatively few ingredients, although it does have parabens, but it doesn't irritate my eyes. I use the Earth Science skin care line, they have a Eye Make-up Remover and then the Clarifying Face Wash...
  2. Just reading along, not much to add. babysteps, a lot of us have really reacted to, or still react to many supplements. A multi-vitamin can be problematic for some like the others said because there are so many different things in them and it's possible to be allergic/intolerant to any vitamin. Sometimes it's best to break everything up and try one thing...
  3. No, not likely
  4. I'm looking forward to reading it and I'll report back with my review!
  5. I heard about that, there are supposedly a few other contestants who had recording contracts at one point, or were close to being in the process of being signed. Michael Johns talked about being in the studio and writing songs, does that mean he's kind of already in the business, but just hasn't broken out yet? I also heard that Robbie Carrico was...
  6. Has anyone read, or currently reading, Oprah's latest Book Club selection A New Earth?? I just got the book and I'm on page 1
  7. It's Thursday, Lost is on tonight Yep Patti, it turned out in last week's ep that Sayid is actually working for Ben
  8. My thoughts are coming shortly , I'll watch my recording and get back to you!
  9. This looks yummy! I wonder if you could substitute almond butter for the peanut butter?
  10. Welcome to gluten-free baking! I use Featherweight baking powder, it's labeled gluten-free I haven't mastered baking from scratch yet, I usually rely on prepared mixes (brands like Pamela's, Namaste, gluten-free Pantry). I do keep some brown rice flour and white rice flour on hand to use in a pinch. As far as gums I think the one I see...
  11. Good tip, thanks for sharing. I need to try this with my pancake mix because the pancakes with cf mixes seem to come out pretty flat. I want airy light fluffy pancakes , maybe this will do the trick!
  12. YAY!!! So glad to hear you had cookie success
  13. I haven't tried the GFP cake mix, so I'm not any help there. I use the Pamela's Chocolate Cake Mix and it's very moist.
  14. Congratulations!
  15. He's very handsome and I have rewound my dvr to watch his performance several times I agree about little David, I think he will go all the way to top 3 if not win. Of course I am saying this without seeing the girls yet, that might change when they enter the equation But I think thousands and thousands of young girls will vote for him.
  16. I missed the girls last week, so can't comment Did everybody watch the guys last night?? I thought everyone did pretty good..... The performances that really stood out for me were: Michael Johns (sang first, Go Your Own Way) David Hernandez (Papa Was A Rolling Stone) David Cook (All Right Now) David Archuleta (Imagine) ...
  17. You know, you are probably right. I bet it is the old baby kabuki brush. Everyone here so far has raved about the brushes so if we had our own review system they would be in the 90%+ Good to hear about the Mojave, I'm glad you tried it out I am the same way I usually like what most don't, or don't care...
  18. I agree with what Jess said.
  19. Those familiar with MUA, how accurate are the ratings? They rate the EM brushes low, or at least the Baby Kabuki, I think they give it about a 45%. Don't quote me on that though (I need to go recheck). I usually take ratings with a grain of salt however, because something that one loves and raves about another may not like, or vice versa.
  20. Really, no need. You've put me in my place. I was referring to The Jazz Singer the movie.
  21. Regarding Ben, I am thinking that maybe there will be more and more division amongst everyone as they learn more about the island and as secrets are revealed, and who they put their trust and faith in. Maybe a third camp of who to follow, Jack and Locke being 2 of the 3, Ben being the third?? "Who is them?" is yet another one of Lost's mysteries....
  22. A Silly I just got: For Lexophiles (Lovers of Words) A bicycle can't stand alone; it is two tired. A will is a dead giveaway. Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana. A backward poet writes inverse. In a democracy it's your vote that counts; in feudalism, it's your Count that votes. A chicken crossing the road...
  23. Wait, so many things to reply to Susie but this caught me eye, The Tubes? She's A Beauty, The Tubes? Those Tubes?? I loved that song, btw. And I'm not sure Kissey would be considered a metal head per se, at least that's not the category I would file the concerts he attended into....Foreigner, Loverboy, Journey, Triumph, Eddie Money, Bryan Adams, Night...
  24. Lori, I also just want to say welcome and thank you for sharing your story. Most of us on this thread have had similar journeys, for some the road has been longer and for others just a few years, but the thing we all have had in common is the desperation to find the answers to our health issues and having to look outside of the box.
  25. Sounds pretty, I love Oasis, Susnet Voyage, and Baby Bath. And we can pet our brushes too, nobody will think we are crazy, right I think they look so pretty on the website, and the description sounds pretty too. i was bummed to hear Paula and Donna didn't like them. You bring up a good point though Colleen...
