  1. Part dos, busted for over quoting Me three, music was a big part of my childhood. My parents loved music and it was always playing in the house, lots of "oldies" 60s music, Elvis, 5th Dimension, Johnny Mathis, Neil Diamond, John Denver. Then when my brother and I got a little older we took over with Kiss, Blondie, and REO Speedwagon...
  2. We have similar tastes in music Amanda, I'm a big Classic Rock fan Aerosmith was one band I didn't get to see in the 80s/90s that I would have like to. Van Halen was awesome, saw them in the "Sammy" days when they toured with Monsters of Rock. Speaking of college campus concerts, I saw Modern English when they came to my school in 199...
  3. Whoa, what a blast from the past the above bands Welcome Kissey Face!!!
  4. I have had many mess-ups and goofs in the kitchen, but one that comes to mind more recently was accidentally grabbing the salted butter out of the fridge instead of the unsalted for the chocolate frosting I made to ice a Pamela's Chocolate Cake. I took the cake to a birthday party and it seemed to go over well, everyone was eating it (mostly children...
  5. Welcome back Bev! I've missed your sillies Laura, that must have been an amazing concert! I would love to see both Elton John and Billy Joel in concert. I'm a little embarassed about the concerts I have seen, well not all of them, but many : First concert I ever saw, The Jacksons, Victory Tour (WOO HOO!!!) Then I frequented...

  8. Jess! WOW Paula, that was very fast! I finally registered over at MUA and I briefly scanned over the review percentages of all the EM colors, or the percentage of customers who would buy that color again. Interesting data, might call for a spreadsheet Donna

  10. Aww Patti This stuff is really going around, everywhere! I had the cough and lost my voice a little too. Not fun. Take good care of yourself and I hope you feel beter soon
  11. Dream interpretation, my favorite When you see children in your dream it can signify your own childlike qualities or a retreat back to a childlike state. It is an extension of your inner child during a time of innocence, purity, simplicity, and a carefree attitude. You may be longing for the past and the chance to satisfy repressed desires and unfulfilled...
  12. Thanks for posting this, I am always looking for ways to prepare quinoa
  13. Yes, the girl in the second video had great make-up application skills. She did a great job on her eyes, they looked very pretty.

  15. Yes, maybe so! That would be exciting if gluten is that final puzzle piece for you
  16. I have noticed that sheets and blankets made with a cotton/bamboo blend are appearing everywhere all of a sudden. I know nothing about them, but would love to hear. I wondered if they would be soft too
  17. Colleen, just wanted to give you my support. I have heard it does take a while to clear out dairy and notice changes so it might be worth it to give it more time. Whatever you decide best of luck
  18. Could be a yeast allergy, or an allergy/intolerance to other ingredients in the bread. I get hlegm in my throat from the gluten-free breads also and I have many food intolerances. If you are on a candida diet yeast as an ingredient is generally a no-no. I think there are some gluten-free breads out there that are also yeast-free but I can't recall what...
  19. I'm a little rusty on my allergy/intolerance knowledge, but it is possible to react to something immediately and other things you can have a delayed reaction to. I often experience an accumulative effect reaction, I might have real mild symptoms after eating something and think I can get away with it and the more I eat of it the sicker I get. Also...
  20. I have also had car sickness for as long as I can remember, it still happens for me even off of gluten though. I notice it is worse when I am in a really toxic state and at times when my symptoms are really flaring. I wonder if it's possible that clearing out gluten for you was the final thing that was stressing your body?
  21. I think the consensus is nuts and seeds If you can take a little lunch bag size cooler you can also take baby carrots and celery sticks with almond butter.
  22. I love my detox baths too Paula! The only thing is with our dry climate and winter weather my skin is sooo dry. I am having to slather on lots and lots of lotion. Skin brushing is great for detox too.
