  1. I have a bread machine that was used prior to gluten free. I haven't used it since. You could either buy a new one or buy a new pan and paddle if you like the machine you were given. I have a breadman and you can order new pans and paddles with those. I have two of each, but both of them were used for gluten bread.
  2. Hi. I have come to believe that gluten is not a good thing. If you are intolerant and your symptoms clear up gluten free you have your answer. Whether or not you have celiac you would be gluten free for life. There is a small chance that something else could be causing the gluten sensitivity BUT I still don't think gluten is good for you. If your...
  3. Lara, If you are happy with a dietary response with your little one and don't want to pursue testing then definately go gluten free. My youngest broke out with ezcema just after two months of age. I did intolerance testing on myself and found I was intolerant (among other things) to gluten and soy. I had gone soy free before testing and went very...
  4. Hi Meg! I just commented on a thread of yours. Feel free to jump to the back of this thread if you don't want to read through everything. We've discussed much in the life of this thread. Many here are dealing with heavy metal toxicity, lyme, fungal issues, parasites, molds...... The list is long. I noticed on the other thread that...

    ARCHIVED Need Help -

Yes, blood tests can be false negative. Whether your children have celiac or not, they obviously have gluten intolerance. It does sound like celiac though. Celiac presents differently in different people. You have done everything you can possibly do to help your children and that is great. Sometimes, just like adults, something needs to hit someone...
  6. This is from the same page listed in previous post.
  7. This is from a site that talks about breast cancer and mammograms. I think there is a lot of good info on this page, but didn't think it wise to copy the whole thing. For the complete page click the link. Open Original Shared Link
  8. That's neat! What do you think of LED? I know you were skeptical at first, but that you did have some detox effects.
  9. I thought the following information would be useful to explain the LED process. Open Original Shared Link There is a list of some people who have gone through treatments and resolutions they've had to different things on the website listed above.
  10. I bake in the glass pyrex for the bread and have no problems with it. I've used both and they've turned out similar or the same.
  11. They freeze very well. I know of two stores that keep them frozen. Hi back at you Tom.
  12. Claire, I hate to see you go too. We'll leave the light on. Jin, Sounds hopeful for your dad. Keep us posted.

  14. Jenny, I make 6-9 loaves of this bread a week and it always rises to the top of the bread pan. I use (for 3 loaves) 2 3/4 rice flour, 1 sorghum and 3/4 c coconut flour. 6 eggs/6 tbsp oil and 4 cups water ( you need more water for the coconut flour). I only use 2 tsp salt (instead of 1 tbsp). I don't use vinegar but I don't think that would make...
  15. Yes, me too. Rachelville definately isn't the same. Rachel brought a certain hominess to this place. So quiet most times now. She also has done so much research. I miss reading everything.
  16. I'm sorry. My bad. I love the llamas. So what's the difference between a llama and an alpaca? I think alpaca's have longer necks though.
  17. Micah, I don't have lyme but from what I understand is you can have negative WB's and still have lyme and have it diagnosed as a clinical diagnosis.
  18. Karen, Does Namaste have soy in it?
  19. You'll be caught up in no time.
  20. He's another article for those who are interested. From Open Original Shared Link I've copied over the whole article.
  21. I shop at Wild Oats since that is closer to me. I've popped into Whole Foods once but didn't spend much time there. Both stores have a lot of gluten free choices. They are both on the pricey side for a lot of things but I find there gluten free products to be similarly priced as other stores, although they are a little bit more.
  22. I keep mine in the freezer and don't have a problem. Annalise Roberts, for her mix says to use it within three months, if it's out. I don't know that that would apply to individual flours that haven't been mixed yet. She also says to refrigerate rice flour.
