He prefers using prescription hydrocortisone such as Cortef instead of the adrenal glandulars available at health food stores. The adrenal...

ARCHIVED Supplements For Celiacs?
lindalee replied to rutland's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
Steph, I am not familiar with that. My health journal notes do say to avoid dairy and corn syrup with IBS symptoms, get rid of the bacteria, melatonin improves IBS, get a lot of rest, drink good water and exercise helps move things around. -
Take a chicken and cook with celery, onions, carrots, parsley. The bones are good to have in it. Add salt and pepper. Don't forget the parsley. Just took this to my pastor who has been sick. It works. Hope you feel better.

lindalee replied to Mia H's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I got my copy of Elaine's book "Breaking the vicious Cycle" at the library. I am considering the diet. Many celiacs who did not heal strickly going gluten free have been successful on this diet. I haven't been gluten-free long enough yet to know. From what I have read on the scd site, most of the scd group are working on yeast and getting rid of the bad... -

ARCHIVED Not Really Understanding Some Things About This Diet...
lindalee replied to Chrisser's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
I know what you mean about the sleep. I have been staying up way too late doing research on this forum and it is hard to think straight sometimes without it. I think I am going to take a hot epson salt bath tonight and take either some melatonin or valarian and try to catch up. The body heals when we sleep so we need it. Hope you get some rest and sleep... -

lindalee replied to fisharefriendsnotfood's topic in Coping with Celiac Disease
Gosh, I hope that is not true about the rebounding. What are you reading? I have also just recently gone on the diet and really hope not to much damage has been done to us. I do believe stress is what brought my symptoms on. I really hope that dizziness goes away. -
ARCHIVED Diagnosed When?
lindalee replied to steadyed's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
That is what Happened to me - just keep her on the diet for 2 years.... Started the diet in Feb. How is she doing now? I wonder how many of us that were told that don't know we don't outgrow it? Glad you found out. -
Tavi, I think burning means inflamation. I take noni juice to prevent that and I hope it improves my immune system. I can tell when I don't take it. Less energy. Not sure about the discharge. I had it awhile back but it went away.

Julie, I used to eat them with saltines but now I just eat them with lots of lemon and either drawn butter or cocktail sauceand horseradish. I like raw and steamed. Try the steamed first. They are so good! Lisa, Making the decision is the hardest part so try to go with the flow. Believe me this will simplyfy your life

The pastor had to have him locked up for stealing his vehicle and other things and he threatened to get even so please keep the pastor in your prayers. He is an angel and so good to me. Momma Goose is probably stressed. You have lots of time to make it to the Nags Head Celiac get together-sure wish you could.
