  1. Have you taken them to a doctor afterwards to get that checked? It really sounds like a reaction to the vaccine, I wouldn't get another shot without seriously talking to a doc first.
  2. I think, just as with all forms of gluten intolerance, testing is in its infancy. I found several articles that showed IgA complexed with gut proteins as a major component of the DH lesions. This means that somehow proteins from your gut are getting into the rest of your body. The most well known way for this to happen is from gluten. This suggests...
  3. Tell him you'll gain that muscle back in your sleep. All you need is more room, i.e. He can sleep on the couch....
  4. Here ya go: Open Original Shared Link Associated with chronic inflammation due to tonsillitis. Suggests that the condition is closely linked to chronic inflammation which is most commonly to be found in autoimmune disease, but can occur in other conditions.

  6. I have drywall!!! I'm so easily amused....
  7. <snort> I do know what you mean though. Sometimes that one small thing is just one thing more than we can deal with at that moment. I agree with the cake therapy response.
  8. That looks like what I get every year. So your city doesn't add fluoride, and the naturally occurring levels are quite low.
  9. So wonderful!! I threw away a box of meds after I changed my diet.
  10. Out of curiosity, did you contact your local water district to get a report of the fluoride (and other chemicals) in your water?
  11. I have no memory of such an event. I believe you all were huffing propellant from the float balloons and had a collective hallucination.
  12. I think I remember reading one year that it works better if you toast it, or dry it out first, but maybe someone who's done it more recently will chime in.
  13. I have psoriatic arthritis, which doesn't show up on any antibody tests. My psoriasis is very minimal, and if it weren't for the joint pain I would ignore it entirely. Do you have any scaly patches? Knees, elbow? Anywhere you pants rub?
  14. If you are the one that determined that candida is your problem, can't you be the one to determine when it's gone?

  20. The link you sent me stated that the experiment was done on 10 healthy adults. They replaced gluten containing foods with equivalent ones certified as gluten-free. the gluten-free diet had half the polysaccharides. Also other differences, but none significant. In the discussion they state that the decrease of 3 types of beneficial bacteria could...
  21. Patti frightening the children with her post-pilates self!
  22. You'd need a more detailed description of the gluten-free diet. If it's a bunch of high carbohydrate replacement stuff, I could see that not being so good. If they replaced gluten food with whole food, maybe the result would be different.
  23. You could try cutting out the other big allergens (soy, corn, milk, eggs) one at a time and see if it gets better. I would suggest starting with whichever of those you eat the most of.
  24. You could try a different kind of stuffing Open Original Shared Link
  25. Just to clarify, this is the H1N1 virus. It is not called the swine flu (anymore). That was a mis-classification in the early identification stages.
