  2. Funny how things happen just when we seem to need them to.
  3. Well, I had a bowl of oxalates for dinner - blueberries and almonds. But I seem to be a bit less sensitive than some of you, and I haven't had anything too toxic for a while, so I think I can get away with it. Except for the SI and slight hip pain I already feel... sigh
  4. Hey! Me too! I was told I'm getting old and it's just arthritis. Hip still hurts if I spend too much time sitting around, but thumb is much better.
  5. I pretty much exist on tomatoes and I add in peppers whenever I can, but if I eat either of these with garlic my digestive system is trashed for a week. And I have issues with potatoes always. (Well, now always, not before this lovely venture into selective eating.) I figure oxalates have something to do with it, but I'm curious to hear if anyone else...

I think you are probably dreading facing all that change and in your mind the worst thing would be if you gathered all your wherewithal needed to deal with the move, and then he realized he didn't like his job. ...
  15. If you want to be sure, then get the second opinion. It won't hurt, and maybe it will hep convince you one way or the other.
  16. I just went there this weekend. The cones are quite tasty. And they'll give you as many taste spoons as you want
  17. WHAT!!! You insurance will cover major surgery but not a simple piece of plastic!! ohh.... If you like to fight, I'd be taking on this one...
  18. DROOLLLLL!!!! You are my new best friend. I have been dying for some naan
  19. Not new, but entertaining nonetheless. For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies. 1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans. 2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart...
