    Be sure to put the severed toes into a snowdrift to keep them alive. You can always pack hubby into a snowdrift too, until the ambulance comes.

    Lounged about at home today. Got in to work late, and I'm still the first one here. Think I'll make some coffee.

    Think of of this way: The tTg measures how much gut damage you have (the transglutaminase is leaking into your blood stream) and the anti gluten/gliadin measures how much gluten you're eating. So you've stopped eating gluten (good) and your gut is just now starting to heal.

    I don't actually know. I get my drugs from a mail order pharmacy and I've never bothered to check on the source.

    So I accidentally bought some chocolate, and I've discovered that after eating the 70% kind, the 'normal' dark chocolate (45%) tastes like milk chocolate.

    Probably yes and probably yes. Your scope is likely only a couple weeks away, so it's worth it to stick with the gluten. I would strongly suggest going gluten-free immediately after the scope to see how it makes you feel.

    Not a midwife. My personal opinion (and experience) is that if you have a man and a woman at the same level in their profession, the woman had to be a lot better to get there.

    Most definitely. No wind for us, it's cold (not east coast cold, but Seattle cold) and sunny (ok, well, it's dark now, but 'twas sunny a few hours ago).

    Option 4. Stop eating gluten and if you feel better, never do a challenge. Why do you need a doctor's permission to choose your food?

    Why not? Have you had your liver enzymes checked? Maybe it's time to let go of assumptions and start testing everything you can think of.

    I made the shepherd's pie recipe cited earlier, except I mixed ground turkey and ground beef, and put parmesan cheese in the cauliflower. I also made crock pot barbecue pork, and now I'm cooking chicken breasts with the onions from the crock pot pork on top of them and some additional sauce made of peanut butter, white wine and barbecue sauce.     It's a pherry fenomenon. Groups of people end up sitting in the same booth. After a couple years of seeing the same group of people every day for half an hour you end up knowing each other pretty well. There are similar groups of ladies who have bonded over putting on makeup and doing their hair in the ladies room. I don't think there are any mens...

    Took BE to a pod dinner last night. It was a group of smart-a$$ guys with a quirky look on life.....he fit right in. ....We didn't have lungs....
