Rachel, I've read instructions for taking 1/4 of a drop of Samento to start out with for those who are very sensitive. Patti, sending hugs. Laura, I think Rachel is correct in her assessment of your results and that the worst of not getting a clear yes is knowing that you still haven't got a clear no. What does your doctor think? I am now... -

It seems that last post went through, I don't know why but I keep getting cut off, and it is not just this site. Sorry I have been so lapse, thank you for your friends invitations. I feel like I am moving through molasses and even the littlest thing seems huge, been napping more and just trying to keep up with the reading. I consider you all... -

Rachel, these were blood tests that were done through regular laboratories but I think they are not generally done. They tested me for: lead; mercury; selenium; arsenic; copper; zinc; chromium; cadmium; thallium; potassium; calcium; magnesium; cobalt; manganese; molyodenum; vanadium; antimony; nickel. Mercury is high and manganese is low but other than... -

Does anyone have a good link for information about vaccinations? I am looking for something that offers a balanced view of the risks and makes recommendations as to the vaccines which are most essential and the ones that are risky. -

Andrea, I am always so glad to find you "mothering" us along. Rachel, I know that is what has been said of the Bowen test but I am not sure about this new test. I think some people in Canada have taken their dogs to be tested for Lyme because the tests for humans are so inaccurate that people are desperate enough to look for a Lyme diagnosis... -

I agree with Carla that that doesn't sound like Igenex and all Western Blots are not the same, it is important that the test is done by a lab like Igenex that shows the indeterminates, not just the positives and negatives. -

I've dingo'd everything I thought to respond to along the way but wanted to say I am reading along. Very interesting comments Rachel and Carla you too. Andrea, glad to hear that Mitch is doing fine with the winter roads and Beverly nice to see you. Patti, I hope the surgery goes well. Welcome to new folks. I have 28 pages of test results from all... -

This is a point that concerns me and seems to emphasize the importance of a LLMD. I've read that different coinfections have different symptoms. Welcome Susie, we have a history of claiming the jobs we want so feel free to lawyer away unless there is something else you would rather do. Reading along, thanks for all... -

I wonder about this too Carla, I have always run on the hot side. I didn't make Creme Anglaise but I did succumb to a pint of strawberry Hagen Daas last night. Wow, I am so glad that you got a clear positive Carla. I can only imagine what you must be feeling given how long you have been ill. I understand your desire... -

OMG Carla I haven't read back but now I see I really need to. Eight positive bands!!! The trip was great but I got glutened in a minor way twice and by Sunday I was worn out. I'm still tired today after doing nothing yesterday. Rachel, I'm glad you had some questions answered by the Igenex guy. Laura, I'm sorry you had such a miserable day. -

Hello all, I'm back after a wonderful visit with my new grand-daughter, son and daughter-in-law. I totally got to be Gramma and shopped for the baby and spoiled mom and dad a little too. I thought I was going to be able to post while I was there and now I have pages to read to catch up. Rachel, I did read this page and I'm sorry to hear how difficult... -

In my secret life I am fabulously fancy and sophisticated. It is a custard made with light cream, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla that is cooked on a stovetop until it thickens. One recipe I have for cinnamon creme anglaise says chill and add heavy cream to turn it into ice cream, so it seems it is ice cream before the ice part. -

Thank you all for your support. A friend I was talking to yesterday mentioned a LLMD in Sante Fe that does alternative treatments so that may be a possiblity at some point but for the time being I am going to study this and see if I can continue to make improvements on my own. Rachel, I am glad the hot ice cream is good, it sounds a little like... -

Laura, gaunt or not, your beauty shines through and your inner beauty is substantially more important than the outer though it is very nice to be pretty and you are a very pretty young woman. I think you do look too thin but I don't think you look as bad as you think you do because you are focused on that aspect and we are seeing you. -

How could that be? Rachelville without the girl, no. Me, I figured I was kicked out. Glad to know I wasn't the only one with the problem, just the slowest one. That is weird, did the logging on procedure change for only some of us? Adorable photos all around and I still haven't managed to get a newer one of me up. I am herxing,... -

Hi everyone, this has definitely been another sauna door experience. When the log in routine changed to email address from user name I couldn't log on, I emailed and Scott answered and I still couldn't log on and then I realized that I had forgotten part of my password. Rachel, I am thinking this may change for your mother. I think mothers... -

I really am in the hinterlands you know. The support group is non-existent though I am working on the Lyme Ladies Lunching club. I've talked to two women, one of whom gave me the name of a doctor who though not Lyme literate is supportive of Lyme patients and the other woman who I gave this doctor's name to. I've been visiting the CanLyme site and... -

ARCHIVED The Political Climate Surrounding Lyme Disease

I read one stat that said 10% of all Lyme patients are also Celiacs and it seems like many more Lyme patients avoid gluten without any idea about Celiac disease. -

Miamia, that is about where I am at, asking what are the treatments? In "Healing Lyme" Buhner talks about Artemisinin and Red Root. From what I understand it is important to know what the coinfections are and to treat them first because if you don't deal with them you will never be able to deal with the Lyme. That is what the Lyme hiding in the babeosis...
