    3 Ingredient Gluten-Free Pie Crust

    Caption: Photo: CC/little blue hen

Just 3 Ingredients make up this pie crust! It tastes good...and cannot go wrong! Fill it with your favorite gluten-free pie, fruit, torte, crisp or cheesecake!

1 1/4 Cup almond meal (or very finely ground almonds, unblanched) 1/3 Cup butter  3 Tablespoons sugar

    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 350F.

Melt butter and combine with almond meal and sugar, mix well until all butter is absorbed.

Spread into an 8" round pie pan, pushing into corners and on edges.

Bake for 10 minutes or until slightly browned.

This recipe is incredible - much better than a graham cracker crust. I now use it for all my cream pies and cheesecakes. It's a real hit at family dinners.

For a fruit pie, I'd suggest baking the bottom crust as directed, and making a crumble in place of the top crust, or go on and try making another pie crust recipe, only put it on top. Bake the pie according to directions...just use your senses to directions.

I made this crust for a cheesecake for a person who cant have flour. I LOVED it way better then the Graham cracker crust and will be using this recipe for a lot of my crust. Yummy!! Thanks for sharing.
