Lower Right Sharp Pain

So, I'm undiagnosed. I've had loose stools for about 8 years, getting procedures done soon. I have a question, normally I have no pain at all. But the other night when I was laying down, I had to get up to go use the rest room and when I did I had a sharp pain in my my lower right area, like my appendix area. It didn't happen again after that. I tried pushing on it to see if maybe there was something going on, but nothing. This was like four nights ago. Then tonight I'm sitting around and if I bend a certain way, or sit a certain way, I get these vague and very unpredictable sharp pains, but they are so mild and go away so fast that I don't know what to think. Do celiacs get pain in this area or is it just people with ibd? And has anyone else had pain in this area?

When I am accidentally Glutened it is more towards the lower middle. Like a fist sized in my lower gut, so painful I cannot even walk. It stops me right in my tracks. Then subsides after I go to the restroom. Of course always D when I have been Glutened! But it is unbearable pain.

Some celiacs have gall bladder damage which can cause pain.  Pretty sure that's on the lower right below the liver.  Greasy foods may increase the pain if it is gall bladder related.

Gallbladder sits in the upper right of the abdomen, right below the ribcage.

Yea, this is down lower like my appendix area, but I know its not my appendix because I can press on it with no pain.

It can still be your appendix. I didn't have sharp pain when mine was taken out. It was lower pain they poked and prodded and it didn't hurt. I guess the blood test was enuf to tell them It was appendicitis so be careful..... You may want to go see a doc. I also had my Gallbladder out. It is upper right below the ribcage as shadowicewolf said.

I have had very mild rosacea on my cheeks for years. I also am celiac abd have recently been diagnosed with rosacea in one eye. I have been prescribed eye drops during the day and a gel at night.

Although diagnosed with celiac and dermatitis herpetiformis, I was curious about the celiac genetics and had that testing done on my own. Unfortunately, the lab does not explain the results and any doctor I have asked said I would need to see someone specializing in genetics. I was hoping someone out there might help me understand. Here is what came back and although I understand the HLA DQ2 and HLA DQ8, I wasn't sure what the variants mean and why they repeat twice. Someone said it was a double marker meaning both of my parents gave me copies. I also read having this combination makes my celiac potentially much worse. HLA DQ2 - Positive | HLA DQ8 - Negative HLA...

Understanding that normal is <15, I started off with 250+, then using the same lab it took two years to get to 11, the last test was 3. So, it jumped back up for some reason which is why I suspected gluten in my diet somewhere. I do not do dairy, eggs, oats, or soy. I am vegan and gluten free, and take numerous supplements with the help of this forum.

I just want to post this new study here--it seems that for those who don't recover on a gluten-free diet may be in this group: https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/scitranslmed.adp6812

Many people with celiac disease, especially those who are in the 0-2 year range of their recovery, have additional food intolerance issues which could be temporary. To figure this out you may need to keep a food diary and do an elimination diet over a few months. Some common food intolerance issues are dairy/casein, eggs, corn, oats, and soy. The good news is that after your gut heals (for most people who are 100% gluten-free this will take several months to two years) you may be able to slowly add some these items back into your diet after the damaged villi heal.
