Wanted to add to this post that I was in Shop Rite on Friday and saw Gluten Free Ego Waffles - they came in Regular and Cinnamon.  I bought the Regular and they were very good.

Thanks for posting. I almost never go down the cereal aisle so who knows when I would have seen it. I go shopping tomorrow so I'll have to give a good look for it. I always liked special K. Now if they would come out with a good gluten-free Raisen Bran I'll be all set. Good to know about the Eggos also. Wegmans have some that are pretty good and less than $2 a box. I like the blueberry the best.

The gluten free eggo waffles sound really promising! I'd love to get those for my kids for busy mornings. I will be looking for those!

YAYAYAY! Thank you!! I just hope the UK sell this/ Preferably in Tesco or Sainsburys as they are pretty much the only stores actually near us that have a gluten free section.

I almost never go down the cereal isle as I always go to the free from section but if these are in the main cereal isle thatd be great. Do you know if these are sold in the UK?

I saw these accidentally on Amazon, but have yet to find them in a store.  I'm still eagerly awaiting the gluten free Cheerios.

Someone mentioned gluten free Raisin Bran, which would be great.  It sounds silly, but I miss Frosted Mini Wheats and I always wonder if there isn't a way to make a non-wheat version of that.  For now I accept Cinnamon Chex as a decent sub for Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

I saw the thing for testing for gluten when at public places.I absolutely love but I wonder if they would come up with a bracelet or necklace that can detect gluten in the air.I would LOVE that, i know i get debilitating migraine from smelling gluten wheat what have you, all I know is when I go into places like Chevron- gluten Subway, migraine, Costco that food smell of nasty gluten- migraine and same with Walmart subway.I absolutely HATE im that sensitive, my body reacts.Sadly medical hasn't taken core issue of celiac being an issue considering glutenfree ever since 1994 and in their eyes not because they didn't diagnose me. I am and wish I wasn't. If there was a detector of gluten in the air it would make a world of difference.

Oops! @Staticgypsy, I’ll get the book! Thank you!

Thank you so much for your help, @trents and @Staticgypsy! I so appreciate your thoughts. My diet is high in foods with oxalates and I don’t notice any issues there. If eliminating gluten from my diet had changed anything I’d be happy to just keep on the gluten-free diet, but with eating gluten several times with no rash, and having a rash when I was many years into gluten-free eating (and was much more careful at that point), I’m just baffled. Many, many thanks to you both.

Sorry, @JudyLou, as reread your post, I see that you have had gene testing done already.
