This is the answer to part of your issues.  Until you are healed avoid eating stuff off 'rollers' (this needs to be avoided forever) and from restaurants and others homes. Stay prepared with for sure gluten-free stuff you bring from home. You will heal much faster. You likely are glutening yourself often off things you may think are safe.

Do read the Newbie thread at the top of the Coping section it will help you a great deal.

You know what absolutely kills me?  Fresh fruit and veg.  I tried eating more fruits and veggies, but the result was diarrhea every couple of days.  I eventually had to cut back because I was tired of feeling terrible.

My point is just that you can think you're being "good" and "healthy" but your body doesn't always think so.  I used to eat (plain, scrambled, no additives, just egg) eggs every morning too, but since I stopped eating those my heartburn has almost gone away.

I've come to the conclusion that bodies are stupid.  Stop eating gluten and they'll find something else to start hating.  Eggs, cranberries, whatever.

I have been wanting to get on probiotics, but also seem to have problems with the ones ive tried. I'm assuming its from whatever the fruits were sprayed with. Im really not sure of all of the causes, bit i only seem to be healthy when i eat only plants from my garden. A true paleo diet seems best for me, but with the demands of society, im forced to buy garbage food from convenience stores at times. Johnsonville brats and Freetos are usually safe for me, but if they have any beer brats on the rollers i wont even consider it in fear of cross contamination

Recent reports that many probiotics labeled gluten free may not actually be.  I don't recall names but you can probably google it - it was in the news over the last month.  Really frightening how many people were likely harmed by this.

And as for the brats on the rollers, you can't know what else has been there, how they clean - even if there's no beer brats on there now, how do you know they weren't recently?  The only place I can imagine buying dogs off the rollers is a place I know that only uses gluten-free hot dogs.

so, this hasn't went away and right now im extremely sick. I have been very careful with what I'm eating, but today im having a full blown celiac reaction. I know have not consumed anything with gluten. Yesterday i had martha whites gluten free biscuits and gravy for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and i skipped dinner because my guts were hurting. The only thing i can think off that may have caused this is old orchard gluten free Apple blueberry juice. It seems that any time i try a fruit juice, i get really sick. This has been going on almost 2 months now and i keep getting sicker. I'm really not sure what is causing this, but I'm guessing its the juice. It seems like anything that has been sprayed with herbicides or pesticides is making me extremely sick. I'm thinking about going in for the blood tests because the dh rash is back and everything. My antibodies are all out attacking me right now. The problem is that im too sick to even leave the house right now. I feel like im going to die. I just want to get healthy again.  :-(

Until you feel better, consider giving up all processed foods.  That includes juice and the biscuits!    Eat naturally gluten free foods.  You might have a fruit intolerance too. So focus on meats, fish and veggies for a few weeks.

Im trying. I'm extremely broke right now. I can't afford anything.that makes it really hard for me to eat at all.

Naturally gluten-free can be cheap.  Eat rice, chicken, pork, fish, eggs, ground beef, veggies, and fruit.   Shop the sales.  Stock up, cook and freeze.  Select seasonal foods.   You can get a lot of rice compared to what you paid for that gluten-free biscuit mix.  Compare Walmart's 20 pound bag of rice to your two boxes of biscuit mix.  You can get 202 servings, but let's bump up the portion side.  So, for a blob of rice on your plate (approx 1 cup cooked) that will cost you less than 10 cents!

Beans and rice.  That was our staple when times were tough.  Just sort and cook those beans from scratch!

You can do it.  Just takes a little planning.  ?

A stomach virus, aspartame, food poisioning  and capers all give me the same intestinal issues as gluten.

aspartame gives me a horrible reaction - makes me hyper (actually, all artificial sweeteners do)  - i am also careful not to overdo it with the raw veggies/fruits and there are not many juices that aren't too acidic for me.  try keeping a food journal - you may think you remember everything you have eaten all day, but i was surprised ("o, yeah, i forgot i had a bite of whatever.  and i had that yesterday, too.  maybe i should try not eating that tomorrow and see if that's it....")  it made it easier to figure out even if it wasn't gluten.  hope you feel better. :)

Funny you should mention that issue with the sweeteners, acesulfame potassium, aspartame, saccharin, some forms of pure erythritol all turn me into Mr. Hyde. I straight up get angry and start snapping and breaking stuff. While I am fine with stevia, Sucrose, monk fruit, xylitol, and 1 brand of erythritol. Real sugars tend to make me bloat and cramp if I even a moderate amount. >.> and I am allergic to corn so corn syrups out of the picture.

Reactions to sweeteners are common, whether you have celiac disease or not. The intolerances can be identified by an elimination diet . Exclude them all for a week. If symptoms disappear, then carefully try introducing one at a time, and observe the results. You will know which ones to avoid, but it will take time and patience to figure it all out.

Testing can't alone be trusted.  Else why would it take so many years of testing and retesting and misdiagnosis to finally be told, yes you have Celiac Disease. As to what to eat, I like pre 1950 style food.  Before the advent of TV dinners.  Fresh food is better for you, and cooking from scratch is cheaper.  Watch Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals for how to cook.  Keep in mind that she is not gluten free, but her techniques are awesome.  Just use something else instead of wheat, barley, rye. Dr Fuhrman is a ex cardiologist.  His book Eat to Live and Dr Davis' book Wheatbelly were instrumental in my survival.

If you have DH you will likely also want to avoid iodine, which is common in seafoods and dairy products, as it can exacerbate symptoms in some people. This article may also be helpful as it offers various ways to relieve the itch--thanks for the tip about Dupixent, and I've added it to the article:

I just want to clarify that what I posted is a category of research summaries we've done over the years, and nearly each one shows that there is definitely a connection to celiac disease and migraine headaches. The latest study said: "the study did indicate some potential causal associations between celiac disease and migraine with or without aura, as well as between migraine without aura and ulcerative colitis...this study did not find evidence of a shared genetic basis..." Anyway, there is definitely a connection, and you can go through more of the articles here if you're interested: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/celiac-disease-amp-related-diseases-and-disorders/migraine-headaches-and-celiac-disease/

Two months ago, I started taking Dupixent for dermatitis herpetiformis and it has completely cleared it up. I can't believe it! I have had a terrible painful, intensely itchy rash for over a year despite going fully gluten-free. See if your doctor will prescribe Dupixent. It can be expensive but I am getting it free. When the dermatitis herpetiformis was bad I could not do anything. I just lay in bed covered in ice packs to ease the pain/itching and using way too Clobetasol. Dapsone is also very good for dermatitis herpetiformis (and it is generic). It helped me and the results were immediate but it gave me severe anemia so the Dupixent is better for me. Not sure if it works for everyone. I cannot help with the cause of your stress but from experience I am sure the severe stress is making the celiac and dermatitis herpetiformis worse. Very difficult for you with having children to care for and you being so sick. Would this man be willing to see a family therapist with you? He may be angry at you or imagine that your illness is a psychosomatic excuse not to take care of him. A therapist might help even if he won't go with you. Also do you have any family that you could move in with (with the kids) for a short time to get away? A break may be good for you both.

@tiffanygosci, Thiamine deficiency is a thing in pregnancy for "normal" people, so it's exponentially more important for those with celiac disease and malabsorption issues. I studied nutrition before earning a degree in Microbiology because I was curious what the vitamins were doing inside the body.  See my blog.  Click on my name to go to my page, scroll to drop down menu "activities" and select blog.   So glad you're motivated to see the dietician!  We're always happy to help with questions.  Keep us posted on your progress!
