Has anybody had any problems with Barbara's Bakery Puffins cereal. The web site says they are Gluten Free (though the box doesn't). I seem to remember reading that someone had a problem with this product. Any thoughts. Thanks.

I got sick from the Brown Rice Crisps. I read that they don't guarantee gluten-free because of cross-contamination. Seems like some people are ok eating them though.

You do have the possibility of cross contamination due to the fact they make non gluten-free food here. I've had the Hoeny Rice and I've been fine. You just have to make sure you get the Hoeny Rice. The other flavors have oats in them and are not gluten-free.

I had a problem with the Honey Rice Puffins. Right after I ate them, I felt sick to my stomach. Through trial and error, I'm finding that I frequently react to foods made on the same lines or in the same facility as foods containing wheat. Not everyone does, but I seem to. I stay away from such things, generally speaking.

The box of puffins I have says Gluten free on the side panel. I have not had a problem with it. Make sure they box you have says gluten free on it. Not all varties of thier cerals are gluten-free, only the ones that state it on the box. As I recall, the Honey Puffins is gluten-free, but the Cinimon one is NOT as an example.
