I’ve heard that celiacs should not take Melatonin, is this true? What about Benadryl? Thank you we are new to this

I don't know of any reason not to take them as long as they don't have gluten in them.

I have celiac disease and take melatonin and Benadryl regularly without any issues.

Benadryl does cross the blood brain barrier (why it can make you sleepy) and some recent studies say this can lead to some serious side effects.  Consider an antihistamine like Zyrtec or Claritin that can used daily with fewer side effects.

I save Benadryl for a big allergy attack.

You should only really take melatonin if you're flipping to night shift or something. it messes with your circadian rhythm.

benadryl is just bad. get some reactine. (cetrizine hydrochloride) its like someone is like "damn i wish allergy meds made you drowsy like they did in the 60s"

Instead of melatonin as a sleep aid, you can take tryptophan, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine),  and magnesium.  You could also try passion flower extract, but not with tryptophan because it can make you euphoric.

? hope this helps

hot emergen C with a spoonful of honey is a great sleep aid. something about vitamin loading makes me sleepy, kind of like eating a large meal i think

Thanks for the list too makes me realise why I still get symptoms after cutting gluten , all that reading has just made sense to why I'm still struggling , thankyou Scott Adams very insightful , I've been baking to and there is xanthum gum in the flour , I understand now why I still have issues with that too, and ive had to cut dairy also , i had a terrible flare few months ago and my throat also was very irritable and I had sinuses issues all makes sence 👍
