Hi, I'm looking for a recipe for graham crackers or if anyone knows of packaged graham crackers that are any good. I tried St. Josef brand and hated them. Thanks

I tried the Kinnickinnik ones. They are pretty good overall, but sort of gritty. They are also quite expensive at around $5 a bag. My sister has made the ones in one of Bette Hagman's cookbook. The texture was quite impressive but we found we had to reduce the cinnamon quite a bit to get a more true flavour (at least, a flavour similar to the ones we used to eat! Christie HoneyMaid, I think they were). I'm not sure which of Bette Hagmans books the recipe is in. Best of luck.

the recipe lori is talking about is in the "gluten free gourmet bakes bread". someone on here said they made some by copying ingredients that were in some purchased ones----i think they said they used some almond meal in them. maybe they will see this thread and post what they did. i wish i could remember who it was!!

Lisa Shaw from Mona's gluten free has cinnmona grahams . I haven't had a chance to try them yet but I hear they are pretty good. Also I hear good things from OUtside the breadbox ; grahams are good.

I'm getting hungary I guess I should go make these grahams!!!!

Hi Nini

Was this from the grainless baker near Scranton, Pa????? About a year ago I ordered from them and it was good but I didn't know they maybe had grahams (if they are the one you spoke of).....I used their mock rye for reuben sandwiches and it was heaven.

thanks

Curious how the rest of you folks eat graham crackers? I enjoy mine with milk and eat it like cereal, with of course a pinch of sugar. Yummy

My husband does that cereal thing, too! I have to buy at least a couple of boxes at a time, because he'll eat one package at a time in a bowl with milk. I'd never even thought of that before I married him! I miss graham crackers, especially with milk.

I'm pretty sure that's it... One of the ladies in our support group, her sister owns this bakery... I've thoroughly enjoyed everything from them... they have these chocolate cake thingies that are kind of like "ding dongs" only much much better, and the butterfly cookies are incredible. The graham crackers, oh yum... I ate almost an entire package in one sitting the other day.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
