Tofutti Ice Cream

I've been having a reaction to the tofutti ice cream. My elbows are so itchy and I have rashes everywhere. I'm having my stomach issues also. The labeling isn't very clear and I don't have a number or web site to ask the company. Does anyone know if it has any gluten?

I don't know if the ice cream is gluten-free but I know the fudgesicles are gluten-free and df.

Tofutti fudgesicles and "marry me" are both gluten-free they do not guarantee the other things are however, I have had no problems with their "Better than Sour Cream" or cream cheese. They say they attempt to make those items gluten-free but they can not be totally sure because they are made in a different building than the fudgesicles and "marry me" bars. All the other ice cream products are not gluten free, like the Tofutti Cuties.

Does anyone have any contact info so i can call them.

I'm not totally convinced that the ice cream I had is gluten free. I am really suffering. All my rashes and funky symptoms are back. If it's not gluten then I am baffled by what I am reacting to. Maybe it's from the tofu that is in the icecream. What is tofu made out of? I want to figure it out before I give it to my younger boys who can't have dairy or gluten.

Here is their website link. I can't find the letter they sent me but you can write to them.

I'm not familiar with the brand, but just a thought--could you be sensitive to soy? Tofu = soy.

their ice cream is gluten-free, but they won't make "guarantees" like they do with dairy. many, many people don't have a problem with their stuff, but if you do, it's best to avoid it, regardless of exactly what is causing the reaction.

It looks like their most recent clinical trial just finished up on 5-22-2025.

Dear Scott,  please check the link https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT05574010?intr=KAN-101&rank=1 What do you think about it?

KAN‑101 is still very much in development and being actively studied. It has not been dropped—rather, it is advancing through Phases 1 and 2, moving toward what could become the first disease‑modifying treatment for celiac disease. https://anokion.com/press_releases/anokion-announces-positive-symptom-data-from-its-phase-2-trial-evaluating-kan-101-for-the-treatment-of-celiac-disease/

Thiamine interacts with all the other B vitamins.  Thiamine and B 6 make a very important enzyme together. With more thiamine and other vitamins available from the supplements your body is absorbing the ones you need more of.  The body can control which vitamins to absorb or not.  You're absorbing more and it's being transported through the blood.   It's common to have both a Thiamine and a Pyridoxine deficiency.  Keep taking the B Complex. This is why it's best to stop taking supplements for six to eight weeks before testing vitamin levels.

Yes I took a supplement that had B6 in it, low dosage though. I've stopped taking that. B1 doesn't affect other B vitamin levels?
