Dear Carla,

You know how you mentioned overweight people seem to not absorb toxins and have as much trouble with eliminating them? That is somewhat true. You see, the body often fills with fluid to protect the organs. This is also called false fat. It often occurs with food allergies.

Not exactly, I was saying that I thought the fat stored the toxins protecting the body from them.

That whey protein sounds excellent. It is also derived from raw milk. So those who are allergic to casien and milk could probably tolerate this.

Are you sure they were the right ones? I got them from Dr. Amy and shes here in the states.

This is the one that Dr. K. mentions as being his favorite.

Mitch thought he recognized the name when I found it. I listened to part of the interview this morning but didn't come across it.

I'm glad that that is the one that is mentioned. Sounds like a good one.

Rachel,

I'm glad u posted that denatured biz.

I usually think of it as an uncorking of the large stringy molecules.

It's also hard to get a broken slinky to be right again hehe. Silly example I know but it came to mind.

While the whey protein relates to denaturing one way, denaturing itself is a very useful thing too.

It's how trychinosis in pork dies at whatever temp - 165F?

It's what turns an egg white white when cooked.

I didn't check but I suspect it's behind the magic of milk turning into so many other things. No heat required, just mechanical energy to get butter and then that'll become whipped cream?? How surprised was the 1st person doing that!!?

<hmmm am I gonna wish I'd checked?? :lol: >

I'm rooting too. I'm rooting for everyone here needing some help with the treatments. I'm rooting for Lisa too. :D

Awwwwwwww  Thanks Rachel. you made my evening. :) Let's all tackle this stupid little pest all together. Oh Tom and when you win and we all get treated and we are all better we should all throw a big party in Vegas.

Yeah....Mitch might have heard it....it was late into the interview...like an hour into it....when he was talking about the mineral supplementation kicking out the mercury and the importance of high protein diet and whey products to get that mercury out of the body.

He said Whey Cool was one of the best whey products he's found. I'm gonna try this one....it looks really good. :)

Yeah...I think once a slinky is denatured there just aint no making it right again.....it cannot be returned to its original undenatured state.

Yeah I try to buy it but they don't send to my address or something. It's by cardiavascular research ltd right. The label is like maroon. I will try again. oh my whey protein is called immunupro but the wheycool sounds better.

Yeah I am interested to see Gallagher. Why do they all have to reside in the bay area? The long distance drive a killer especially when you need to eat certain foods only.

How to go about?

dlp252 Apprentice
I don't know. I know the probiotics we buy (from Mercola) are from goats milk.

Talitha loves taking those out of the capsule.

I wonder if you'd be able to tolerate the ones I listed. They are both grass fed cows and raw I believe. Supposedly raw is beter tolerated than the pastuerized stuff.

Hum, I'll have to ask Dr. S or someone...maybe the HN doctors if they know. I'm pretty intolerant to casein though...I think the goat and sheep milk might be different enough (casein wise) so that if I don't eat it often it wouldn't cause much problem...not so sure about cow's milk even if it's raw. Actually, maybe one of these days I should do a challenge with something pure like raw milk to see if I can tolerate a small amount of it.

I may also have to look at those probiotics!

Pssst...I love taking my stuff out of the capsules too. :P Has anyone tried to take stuff out of gelcaps? I think it may be the gelcaps I react to and not so much what's in them....I may try the EFAs again, but take them out of the gelcap.

NoGluGirl Contributor

Dear Rachel,

Thanks for all of the awesome scientificness on the undenatured versus denatured whey protein! I knew what the difference was to a point. Now I have a more elaborate explanation! :) I do not know if I could tolerate whey protein. Does it have a lot of lactose? Thanks for the link, by the way!

So that is just what Klinghardt has come across in his practice. Mercury appears to get stirred up whenever the infections are treated. I am curious about that. Mercury seems to really complicate a lot of things. My exposure would have been in the womb from my mother's fillings, contacts I used before 1998, eating a lot of tuna, shrimp, and salmon, and the MMR and Tetanus shots I had.

Dear Carla,

I see what you were saying. Now that you have lymified, I get it! ;) Fat stores these poisons and prevents them from reaching other parts of the body. The organs are then protected. That makes sense. It is possible this occurs.

Dear Donna,

Sharpies are so fun to play with! I am a stationary freak! I also think the nail polish and purse sound great! That will be pretty! But now, you need some fuzzy slippers to match!

Hair dryers are something I do not bother with. They take forever with my hair. It will take 45 minutes to become damp-dry! I cannot hold my arms up that long! This can also damage your hair and scalp.

I am glad you tolerate the goat and sheep's yogurt. I do not know if I could tolerate those. I have never tried them. I do not know if I could afford to try them! They usually are quite expensive.

Dear Andrea,

I hope I avoided those stupid crumbs! I think I did. I dumped out my drink I had there. I am going to have to make more now. It is a lot more work for me than everyone else to eat or get a drink. Thank you for posting about Whey Cool, also.

Dear tom,

You know how you were talking about flea circuses and flea markets? I thought that was so funny, because it reminded me of something. I saw something on flea circuses on animal planet. They actually take an itty-bitty wire and pull it through a hoop or guide it to do what they want until it does it on its own! We also learned in the show that fleas have a special protein their legs are made of, so they can literally jump 100 times their body length!

Dear Nikki,

Hello Nikki! How are you? We have not seen you all that much lately. Did you get to see the concert for Princess Diana? I have not seen it, but heard it had some great groups.

Dear Lisa,

The whey protein makes me a bit nervous. I do not tolerate high lactose anything. I do not know if it has it in there or not. Goat and sheep's milk might agree with me. I have never gotten to try them.

Dear Bev,

I am sorry you have a cold! I always took Sambucol when I had that. It really helped. I got over mine in a week, while everyone else took three weeks, because they had a terrible hacking cough. I used to get Bronchitis every single time I got a cold. Now I don't.

Sincerely,

Jin

Jin, here is a simplistic article about fat and toxins. Open Original Shared Link

When your body is toxic, toxins hide and embed themselves in your body fat. This causes your cells and organs to become sluggish and lose efficiency. The fatter you are, the more toxins you can store. As your organs and body systems lose their ability to function properly, they lose their ability to metabolize and process fat effectively. This is one reason why some of you find it difficult to lose weight - your body is not functioning properly.

When you start to lose weight, this causes fat to be used up in your cells as energy and causes toxins to be released into your blood stream. If you lose weight to fast, you will have excess toxins released into your blood and this creates a variety of unhealthy symptoms and conditions - headaches, mucus, flu like symptoms, joint pains. Excessive toxins in your blood can remain there for over a year and cause you harm and that is why you need to lose weight slowly

AndreaB Contributor
Yeah I am interested to see Gallagher. Why do they all have to reside in the bay area? The long distance drive a killer especially when you need to eat certain foods only.

The dentist I've chosen to go to due to the cost is 6 hours one way from me. The cost of gas will still put us under what it would cost to get done on this side of the mountains though.

Pssst...I love taking my stuff out of the capsules too. :P Has anyone tried to take stuff out of gelcaps? I think it may be the gelcaps I react to and not so much what's in them....I may try the EFAs again, but take them out of the gelcap.

You could puncture them with a pin (sewing needle, whatever) and then squeeze into your mouth. Talitha actually broke the gelcap with her teeth to see what the oil was like. It was all over the counter......she didn't get her primrose oil that night.

Chemicals and toxins are making us fat. Toxins are keeping us from losing weight. How is that possible? Our liver's job is to break down toxins and get rid of them before they can cause problems. But in this day and age, that amazing organ cannot keep up with the excess of toxins entering our body.

Doctors are now telling us that our body's natural response is to create more fat cells to wrap around each toxin molecule, effectively hiding it. So within each "love handle" of fat, my body is harboring numerous enemies. As long as I choose not to recognize their presence, these toxic enemies will continue to build up an army, settle in for the long haul, and I will pay a high price in the form of diabetes, heart disease, cancer, or any number of other degenerative diseases.

tabasco32 Apprentice

Raw milk I believe has natural probiotics in it right? There is one on the website called organic pastures and they talk about raw milk. They sell it at whole foods. I believe though it has probiotics naturally.

CarlaB Enthusiast

Here's another article. This is the chelator my LLMD has me on. Open Original Shared Link

Fat is one of the body's defense mechanisms - the more chemicals and toxins in the body, the more fat the body manufactures as a natural protectant. Some of us celebrate because we carry little or no excess fat. The fact is that this "fortunate" small percentage is exposed to the same levels of toxicity, but with no excess fat to enrobe the toxins which gravitate to the body's vital organs including the liver, kidneys, and brain. So, in terms of countering body toxins, fat has its upside. But there is a much better defense to toxic living than storing excess weight. That's the role of Detoxamin.

Hum, I'm not sure about the natural probiotic stuff of raw milk. I still think the casein would be an issue, at least for now, but I don't know for sure.

You could puncture them with a pin (sewing needle, whatever) and then squeeze into your mouth. Talitha actually broke the gelcap with her teeth to see what the oil was like. It was all over the counter......she didn't get her primrose oil that night.

I have a guitar, too! It is an acoustic. I need a new string. Dad broke it. He was trying to fix it when it happened. Then he did the same thing to my violin! Now I have to take them both to get them fixed!

Booooo! I suppose at least the guitar didn't spit pudding at u.

You mentioned bananas not setting well with you. Are you allergic to latex? I heard somewhere that latex and bananas have similar proteins. That is why I was wondering. People who are allergic to aspirin are often allergic to tomatoes as well for the same reason.

Those pairings are so strange and I've read before of those types of things.

I've never thought I had a latex problem.

I was trying a bite of banana to check a higher sugar content fruit.

. . . . . . . I am so tired of being stuck here.

Oh Jin . . . . . . .u said it all. :(

I guess this part of my post is just acknowledging my reading of it. Saying how bad I feel about the situation feels redundant. How could anyone who reads that not be affected?

Gee . . . . TV vs child .. .. .incredible.

P.S. Things going on for me today force me to realize I need to spend a lot more time offline.

I should be packing & planning.

I should be out meeting people. (Perfume & cologne-free ppl I hope)

As many years as illness has taken, keeping me from doing things, I've gotten far too accustomed to sitting here.

The Times They Are A'Changin'. :)

Would you be able to take colostrum? They have a colostrum that has the casien taken out of it. It by proper nutrition I think. I don't know if it's a prob or not.

Dear Rinne,

I am glad you are off the Rinne Bars! That is probably difficult to do! The Candida Diet is not the world's easiest to follow! I applaud you on your effort and bravery! I am just proud to say I did not rachel the peanut butter. I was really good!

Dear Carla,

Thanks for the articles! They were very interesting! You know, I think I have heard of the doctor in the first article before! I am not sure where from, though. It might have had him in the natural health magazine I get from the healthfood store.

Now I have a better understanding of where toxins hide. The fat cells are troublesome in so many ways! I know toxins can cause you to be fat, too! Being unhealthy does have a lot to do with being overweight for some. Diabetes, cancer, and a number of other illnesses are directly linked to obesity. Does this mean an overweight person would have more toxins than a thin person?

Dear Andrea,

That is so crazy! You mean that it costs more to go to a dentist nearby? I think you made the best choice you could. It really is surprising what costs more sometimes. A lot of people will actually go across town because something is on sale, but they really are making up for what they save on the item in gas! With dental work, that is different. It can be thousands!

I would not try taking the stuff out of the capsules. That would be a mess! Plus, sometimes it is good to have the capsule for coating the stomach. Enteric coated capsules are good to have if your system is sensitive. This is particularly so with your upper tract. This helps you avoid indigestion.

Dear Lisa,

I do not know if probiotics are raw milk. I think they would irritate my system if they were. The ones I take do not contain dairy, I do not believe. I cannot deal with lactose at all. Really small amounts in cheese or milk chocolate are alright, but not yogurt or pudding. Casein is not my trouble.

Dear tom,

Nope, the guitar did not spit pudding at me! I told my father he can no longer touch any of my instruments, stringed or not! God only knows what could have happened if I had gotten a harp! He could tear up a Sherman Tank! I swear to you!

The sugar very well could have been it. Too much carbohydrate in general might have irritated the system. Candida does tend to aggravate things when a lot of carbs are involved. Many people get digestive upset if they eat high carb foods.

This is especially so after being on the diet a while.

Yeah, I am even surprised by the B.S. I have endured over the years. Why did God let these people have kids? What did I do in a past life that I deserve this punishment? Have you ever wondered that? It blows your mind how selfish people are.

I am glad you finally get to go meet people! At least you are not stuck anymore! That is good! I understand the no perfume thing. I get nauseated from it sometimes. Most of the time, it stings my throat and makes me sneeze. People should watch that crap!

Sincerely,

Jin

Raw milk I believe has natural probiotics in it right? There is one on the website called organic pastures and they talk about raw milk. They sell it at whole foods. I believe though it has probiotics naturally.

I've picked up that raw milk many times at Whole Foods....also the butter and kefir. I never bought anything because of the warning on their label regarding bacteria and weakened immune systems.

This is what it says on their site though...

16. Why do OPDC products carry a "government warning" that states that the consumer may be sickened by this raw dairy product?

Government regulations now require many living foods to carry a warning label, including meat, poultry, fish, and fresh juices. This came about because of the ever weakening immune system of the average American citizen.

More and more US consumers have severely weakened immune systems and can become ill by eating small amounts of foreign bacteria that their bodies are not familiar with.

It has been estimated that about 70% of the strength of a healthy immune system is made up of the diversity of living bacteria found in the intestines. Raw milk provides a perfect source for the "seeding and feeding" of these diverse populations of living bacteria.

The average American diet is practically devoid of living bacteria (all killed foods and few bacterial sources). Our immune systems have suffered as a direct result. Consuming raw milk and dairy products is an important step towards regaining immune strength and overall health.

On occasion a new raw milk consumer may have some diarrhea from over drinking raw milk for the first time. This is rare and should be considered very normal. After all, the intestine has never seen such an incredible introduction of new and diverse beneficial bacteria and does not have any idea what to do.

It is possible, but highly unlikely, that pathogens may be transmitted in raw milk just as they may be transmitted in all other foods. OPDC has demonstrated that even when high levels of pathogens were introduced into raw milk, they die off and do not grow (BSK tests).

In fact, pathogen killing safety systems are hard at work, keeping raw milk safe even if it has been contaminated. To date, there has never been a human pathogen ever detected in any OPDC product, in the plant, or from any test. OPDC products are highly pathogen resistant.

Because OPDC can not predict the future and know what is yet to come, it is possible that someday a pathogen may be detected in an OPDC product. If you are a healthy OPDC consumer this should have no noticeable effect. Your immune system will deal with it and you will probably not even know that a pathogen was in your raw dairy product.

This is evident when reading CDC reports of raw milk illness. The farm and dairy consumers never get ill; it is the first time raw consumers (with weak immune systems) that become ill.

This is exactly why all people should drink lots of raw milk. A strong immune system is a gift of freedom and of health. It is your choice, and with raw milk (exercise, good hydration, a whole-food diet, and plenty of love) you need not become ill, ever. Choose life!

tabasco32 Apprentice

So I was wondering if this would be something to consider with Whey Cool protein since it contains raw milk? The bacteria and stuff.

CarlaB Enthusiast
Does this mean an overweight person would have more toxins than a thin person?

No, what the Detoxamin article said was that the thin person has the toxins in bodily organs since there's no fat there to absorb the toxins. They have to be distributed somewhere.

Hi Jane: You may want to try the D3 I now take. I have reactions to fillers and many additives. Sports Research, it is based in the USA and I have had no bad reactions with this brand. The D3 does have coconut oil but it is non GMO, it is Gluten free, Soy free, Soybean free and Safflower oil free.  I have a cupboard full of supplements that did not agree with me -  I just keep trying and have finally settled on Sports Research. I take NAKA Women's Multi full spectrum, and have not felt sick after taking 2 capsules per day -  it is a Canadian company. I buy both from Amazon. I wish you well in your searching, I know how discouraging it all is. Florence.

highly unlikely  NOTHING and I mean NOTHING else has ever caused me these kinds of symptoms I have no problem with dates, they are a large part of my diet In fact, I eat a very high fiber, very high vegetable and bean diet and have for many years now. It's considered a whole foods plant based or plant forward diet (I do now eat some lean ground turkey but not much) I was off dairy for years but recently had to add back plain yogurt to meet calcium needs that I am not allowed to get from supplements (I have not had any problem with the yogurt)   I eat almost no processed foods. I don't eat out. almost everything I eat, I cook myself I am going to keep a food diary but to be honest, I already know that it's wheat products and also barley that are the problem, which is why I gradually stopped eating and buying them. When I was eating them, like back in early 2024, when I was in the middle of moving and ate out (always had bread or toast or rolls or a sub or pizza) I felt terrible but at that time was so busy and exhausted that I never stopped to think it was the food. Once I was in my new place, I continued to have bread from time to time and had such horrible joint pain that I was preparing for 2 total knee replacements as well as one hip! The surgery could not go forward as I was (and still am) actively losing calcium from my bones. That problem has yet to be properly diagnosed and treated   anyway over time I realized that I felt better when I stopped eating bread. Back at least 3 yrs ago I noticed that regular pasta made me sick so I switched to brown rice pasta and even though it costs a lot more, I really like it.   so gradually I just stopped buying and eating foods with gluten. I stopped getting raisin bran when I was constipated because it made me bloated and it didn't help the constipation any more (used to be a sure bet that it would in the past)   I made cookies and brownies using beans and rolled oats and dates and tahini and I LOVE them and have zero issues eating those I eat 1 or more cans of beans per day easily can eat a pound of broccoli - no problem! Brussels sprouts the same thing.   so yeh it's bread and related foods that are clearly the problem  there is zero doubt in my mind

Thank you for your post, @nanny marley It is interesting what you say about 'It's OK not to sleep'. Worrying about sleeping only makes it much harder to sleep.  One of my relatives is an insomniac and I am sure that is part of the problem.  Whereas I once had a neighbour who, if she couldn't sleep, would simply get up again, make a cup of tea, read, do a sudoku or some other small task, and then go back to bed when she felt sleepy again.  I can't think it did her any harm - she lived  well into her nineties. Last week I decided to try a Floradix Magnesium supplement which seems to be helping me to sleep better.  It is a liquid magnesium supplement, so easy to take.  It is gluten free (unlike the Floradix iron supplement).  Might be worth a try.

Thank’s for addressing the issue of mushrooms.  I was under the impression that only wild mushrooms were gluten-free.  Have been avoiding cultivated mushrooms for years. Also, the issue of smoked food was informative.  In France last year, where there is hardly any prepared take-out food that is gluten-free, I tried smoked chicken.  Major mistake!
