I'm wondering for someone with celiac is joint pain common and spotting between periods? I'm a newbie here and put a post up a couple days ago talking about my current situation. The last couple days I've had a new develop of joint pains. My body hurt so bad last night it took me forever to fall asleep. Also I had some spotting last mth and I thought nothing of it but when I woke up this morning I was spotting again.

Joint pain is very common but what are you referring to as spotting?

:P thanks for the joint pain input though. I'll leave the other question for one of the female members B)

Seems to me I read somewhere that spotting between periods is tied to Celiac (one of the many hormonal/menstrual effects) but it can also be a sign of other illnesses so it might be a good idea to discuss it with your GYN. The thing that would make me a little uneasy about it is that it just started recently-- unless your other Celiac symptoms are also new.

Spotting is not necessarily a bad thing. If it is heavy, then that is a problem. If it is just a little bit, it could mean you are ovulating. Some people spot when they ovulate. There is nothing wrong with that. It makes it easy to figure out when you are ovulating which is helpful if you are trying to get pregnant (or trying not to). I think if it lasts more than 3 days or is heavy, that is something to talk to your doctor about, but less than that is ok.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
