What do you teach?

TriticusToxicum Explorer
Campus? What do you do?

I'm the guy in the dining hall that scrapes the food off the plates before it goes into the big dishwasher. It's kind of like your sauna, but with leftovers

No, really, I work in the student billing office at the State U. in town.

You easterners are having a lot of fun over here.

I used to drink mocha's, became quite the habit. Never liked coffee, used to have only 1/2 hot of espresso in my mocha and quite that.

I don't fit in over here (boohoo) but you guys are fun to read anyway. :D

Oh, then I'm going to keep intervening to keep Patti from cutting her hair. I'm that way, too. That's why I change the color every couple months. When it was shorter, I changed the style every time!

Cheap coffee means you're drinking it for the caffeine if you can afford better and don't bother with it. If you can't afford better, then it means you're doing the best you can. I am VERY spoiled ... I buy good coffee. But I am too lazy to grind my own, so I do have it ground for me. If I get back into drinking it at home, I might buy a new coffee grinder like a friend of mine has that's much easier than the little one I have.

My dear lady, you assume to much! I drink decaf, I generally aviod cafine cuase it make my blood sugar even harder to control.

I drink coffee for the taste, and I have tried far more beans/blends/etc then you could name (I used to run a a real coffee shop, not a chop joint like Starbucks). :P

But if I want coffee at all, I have to mix in cheap as the bulk of it or do with out. But I will be ordering some more this or next week. So be a good time to visit LOL

What would you like to talk about. We have fun with pretty much everything! (You have to say something nice about Steve's hair first, as we've hijacked his thread)

Andrea, please join in, we talk about whatever topic anyone brings up!!!

Patti, distance is all a matter of perspective. Adam's territory is 5 states and he does a lot of day trips (we live about in the middle, which is why Cincinnati is a good place for us). He goes to TN regularly .... Nashville is not even a five hour drive! Now, to a lot of people, that's far ...

Okay, now I'm really out of here, but I'll be back. Chloe just discovered something else Morgan cleaned out of the cupboard ... all the Lara bars ...now I better go look under my bathroom sink, I'm sure she cleaned me out, too!! College kids .... ;)

Patti, we'll have our almond milk question answered in less than an hour!!

He'll probably do his thing where he quotes everything he wants to comment on and makes a VERY long single post from it!!! It'll take him all day, then it'll take us a week to read and comprehend the whole thing :lol::lol:

Where is Steve, anyway?????

WHOA! You might just be in the wrong thread! How old is the little cutie?

The cutie is 10 months old now, next oldest just turned 4, and my oldest will be seven in December. We are in the middle of homeschooling......what am I doing on here then? Oldest two are looking at something outside. They wanted to go swimming (in the kiddie pool). Not quite warm enough for that.

I was wondering if I was in the wrong thread for some "adult" talk. ;)

I'm guessing you got tired of being the adult, and that's why you popped in over here! ;)

I get canker sores one hour after eating Oats, and pimples in my butt.

Body dysmorphia experience. When I was at the worst of my gluten problem I use to get chronic constipation; I would spend long time sitting on the toilet. One day as I was tired of sitting, I rested my head on my hands and my elbows on my knees, as soon as I felt the pressure of my elbows on my knees the perception of my body changed to that of a tarantula; I visualized and it felt real. The perception went away as soon as I removed the pressure on my knees, I deducted that the pressure of my elbows on the knees caused the sensation, so I repeated the position and the sensation of having the body of a tarantula happened each time. I have not had that experience since then because I started a gluten-free diet short after. I wonder if those people that look distorted to themselves in the mirror could have something similar but with the responsible sensory contacts located on their feet. I want to document this experience because it might help some research or others, it sounds crazy but I feel the right thing to do is to share it.

Get tested for vitamin deficiencies.  Though neuropathy can be a symptom of celiac, it can also be caused by deficiencies due to poor digestion caused by celiac and could be easier to treat.

Thank you so much for your response  Yes it seems as though things get very painful as time goes on.  I'm not eating gluten as far as I know.  However, I'm not sure of cross contamination.  My system seems to weaken to hidden spices and other possibilities. ???  if cross contamination is possible...I am in a super sensitive mode of celiac disease.. Neuropathy from head to toes
