Sure you can!......and I do believe I taught the sign for that :P

.......oh Jaaaa-nittt!!!!!!

GAHHHHHH!!!!! You guys really need to learn how to look for these things yourselves . . .

Shouldn't be too hard..... :P First, get the children away from the computer. Use your dominant hand (I'm a lefty signer) and point your index finger. At waist heighth, in front of you, bend your wrist so you are pointing down. With your other hand, point and touch the tip of that index finger to the side of the wrist of the first hand. Now dangle your *penis* by swinging your handle slightly, left and right. Hmmmm.......that'll probably get some interesting comments from Ptaughmn! :lol:

And since this related to the previous, cyclic garb comments, I included it . . .

Sign for the day:

:huh:

B)

:)

....wait for it.......

;)

:D

:rolleyes:

Circumcise..................(had to look that one up!)

Make two fists with thumbs up........you know...when everything's good to go, you give a *thumbs up*............like that. Turn hands so thumbs are pointing at each other. If you are right handed, circle right thumb forward around left thumb, and visa versa for left handers.

:P

Edit: There is an alternate way to sign it, circling around your index finger instead of your thumb...........I guess you can choose the size!! :P:P

Now having gone back for this thread history . . . puts the whole thumb conversation into a new light doesn't it??

Darn210 Enthusiast

. . . and now I'm off the clock and going to bed!!!

I did try doing a search for circumcise......I mean, how many people on c.com would've talked about it?

......nothing came up :unsure:

Thanks Jian-nit! :D ........nitey-nite!

...And Good Morning, Psillies!

Gahhh....Jyagnutt's quote retrieval.. . . .. :lol::lol:

See, these things are just PIVOTAL, pieces of information one needs to fill out one's lifeblood. . . ......the ASL sign for circumsize, expressions for having a poop .. . ....

Just think of how this information could have been utilized by the Prime Minister yesterday while hosting President Obama. But did he know these things? NO - - because he ain't in Psillyville, keeping abreast of such essential concepts.

Someone needs to get in touch with his handlers and tell them about us.

:lol::lol:

........or it could be because it's a magnetic dipole and it attracts towards the electrons running thru your body :huh::unsure::lol:

Good lord, a DIPOLE. Yes, Tareeeesuh has a point...... .should it not, with regular gents anyway, be a UNIpole?. . ... ... :rolleyes:

And...if you're a Native American.....do you point it in all four (or six depending on your beliefs and rituals) of the Cardinal Directions before use?

(((((Gasp))))). . .. . . ... But of course! Depending upon one's beliefs. . . . ..

Or towards Mecca. . . . . .....

:lol:

Uneven, um, hanging orbs are normal, as are other items being angled slightly to one side or the other. I don't have a compass handy, but I am sitting with my back to the north wall--what does that mean?

OMG. .. .... :lol::lol:

Well, you must experiment, POeter, and while sitting against a north wall, suddenly get up and FACE that same north wall. . . .......does anything else change direction?

Michelle sits in sixth....Brent Sass pulled out at the last stop, for "strategic reasons"........ :huh::huh: .... .. Um, how in hell is pulling out of the race going to strategically put him in a better situation to win?? :lol:

Mornin Psills! So nice to add another euphamism for "Sinking the Bismark", "Contemplating the Universe", "Leaving a Calling Card", we have tons but really needed another. THIS one...dropping the kids off at the pool, had me laffing out loud...hubby poked his head in the door to see what I was doing. I'm not nutso, just sitting in a room by myself and laffing! :lol::lol:

Psuessly' Kitteh shredding papers! As long as they're not impotent papers! :P My Ivan LOVED brown paper bags...and when we had baby kittehs he would entice them into the bag and then lay on the opening so that they couldn't get out! I've had several that used to love laying on the newspapers, especially if I was reading them.....oooohhhh I miss having phurry babes in my house

:(

Is everyone having a phunderphul day today? I'll check in later (and probably again, and again, and again!) :huh:

We should add to the Official Text Warning at the top of each Psillyville page that this can happen anywhere, not just in front of one's computer, as it does with me when I'm thinking about some hilarious thang a Psilly has said that morning, and I'm lined up at the ATM machine, or during my physical, or sitting at our old neighboUr's funeral last fall (funerals are particularly dangerous, and should get special mention). . . . ....

:rolleyes::lol:

Psuessly' Kitteh shredding papers!

I wanna kitteh that does this! :wub: My two cats are lovely, but no longer fun in that crazed way that kittens are...... .. ..

The Ripper has a PD day today, and when I just came in he was watching the end of The Price is Right. OMG.. . ......now, this is a show that I have not seen in probably twenty years. I CANNOT believe how it just is not the same thing a 'tall without Bob Barker. I mean, that man WAS The Price is Right. Why would they even attempt to continue this legacy without the Great Bob?? I like Drew Carey, but c'mon, he is NO BOB BARKER.

DEAF WIFE

A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he Thought she might need a hearing aid. Not quite sure how to approach Her, he called the Family Doctor to discuss the problem.

The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from Her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you.If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was In the den. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see What happens." Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?"

No response.

So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Still no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his Wife and asks, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Again he gets no response.

So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. "Honey,what's for dinner?" Again there is no response.

So he walks right up behind her. "Honey, what's for dinner?"

(I just love this)

"Ralph, for the FIFTH time, CHICKEN!"

      @sleuth, Has your son been checked for nutritional deficiencies?  All of those symptoms can be caused by malnutrition.  I had severe malnutrition that went unrecognized by my doctors.  Intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, and gastrointestinal distress are symptoms of deficiencies in the eight essential B vitamins, especially Thiamine B1, which becomes low first because the demand is higher when we're sick.     Celiac Disease causes inflammation and damage of the intestinal lining which inhibits absorption of essential nutrients.  Checking for nutritional deficiencies is part of proper follow up care for people with celiac disease.   Is your son taking any vitamin supplements?  Most supplements contain thiamine mononitrate which in not readily absorbed and utilized by the body.  Benfotiamine is a form of thiamine that is shown to promote intestinal healing.  Benfotiamine is available over the counter.  Benfotiamine is safe and nontoxic.   Is your son eating processed gluten-free foods?  Gluten-free processed foods are not required to be enriched with vitamins like their gluten containing counterparts.   Is your son following a low histamine diet?  Histamine is released as part of the immune response to gluten and other foods high in histamine.  High levels of histamine in the brain can cause anxiety, insomnia, and depression.  The body needs the B vitamins to make the enzyme Diamine Oxidase (DAO) to break down and clear histamine.  DAO supplements are available over the counter.  Vitamin C helps clear histamine as well.  Some people find over the counter antihistamines helpful as well, but they're not for long term use.   Nicotine has antihistamine-like properties, but can also irritate the gut.  Tobacco, from which nicotine is derived, is a nightshade (like tomatoes, potatoes, peppers and eggplant).  Nightshades contain alkaloids which affect gastrointestinal permeability, causing leaky gut syndrome.  Nicotine can cause gastrointestinal irritation and alter for the worse the microbiome. Safer alternatives to Nicotine that have antihistamine properties include Lemon Balm (Sweet Melissa),  Passion Flower, Chamomile, and Bilberry.  They can be taken as supplements, extracts, or tea.  These will help with the anxiety, insomnia and depression in a much safer way. Oolong tea is also helpful.  Oolong tea contains the amino acid L-Theanine which helps the digestive tract heal.  (L -Theanine supplements are available over the counter, if not a tea drinker.)  Tryptophan, a form of Niacin B3, also helps calm digestive symptoms.  Another amino acid, L-Lysine, can help with anxiety and depression.  I've used these for years without problems.   What ways to cope have you tried in the past?

      In general if it is labelled gluten-free then it should be ok for most celiacs, however, those who are super sensitive (which is most who have dermatitis herpetiformis) may want to eat only certified gluten-free items, which are supposed to test down to 10ppm (but don't always!).

      Have faith, you will survive. I get mine from Pipingrock.com.  500 capsules of 10,000 IU for $22.  That is almost two years worth for me.  250 caps 5000 IU for $6.69 if you only take 5,000 a day.  It's like half the price of Walmart.
    • Wheatwacked
      Testing can't alone be trusted.  Else why would it take so many years of testing and retesting and misdiagnosis to finally be told, yes you have Celiac Disease. As to what to eat, I like pre 1950 style food.  Before the advent of TV dinners.  Fresh food is better for you, and cooking from scratch is cheaper.  Watch Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals for how to cook.  Keep in mind that she is not gluten free, but her techniques are awesome.  Just use something else instead of wheat, barley, rye. Dr Fuhrman is a ex cardiologist.  His book Eat to Live and Dr Davis' book Wheatbelly were instrumental in my survival.
