You guys is funny!

I'll go back tomorrow morning, and my phone will be charged so I'll know the time. My plan is to be there at 6 am, and since I'll really know the time I WILL jump up and down and look like an ijit.

Just stopped back in for a second breakfast and a shower. Headin' out to walk the streets for a while. Amazing how de-motivating this place is.

And I did stop again and tell someone about the camera. Good eyes!

I went back to where Jess gave Hawaii time and compared it to my time. It will be 12 noon here.

Noon here and in Ottawa. I'll be at the store and will try to look in. When I came by today, Lisa posted that Jess was early, so I just had a peek, but didn't stay and so missed the Second Coming as well. ;)

I am so conphused! How can you see someone on the beach in Hiawatha from anywhere, anytime? Told you, I got nuttin goin upstairs. :huh: It's still cold here, but at least the sun pooped out for awhile. I haven't seen it for so long, it skeered me. I thaught it was an IUD or a flying saucer, or sumptin like that! It glowed! :o

Amylase - I meant to ask if you were diabetic.

Liza - Are you in the great and growing pool of the unemployed? New to it and scared to death. Anything good to say about it? :(

Gotta go fix dinner...Bacon-wrapped pork fillets, home-grown mashed potatoes and gravy, a corn and basil souffle, and choice of broccoli or asparagus. :) Yeah, I'm upset and cookin up a storm. Next week budget allows for cat-food! Dry! :angry:

I am still working, but hubby is unemployed. My paycheck is nuttin to get excited about, though. <_<

Not a darn thing good to say about it. :angry: Since your hubby was layed off, can he get unemployment?

I will say, though, that some of our friends have helped us out in different ways......restores yer faith in humanity ^_^

Hi Psillies- I didn't know Geoss was in Hawaii already! Will try to check at 12:00 and see her all tanned and relaxed (but up at 5 am? WTH?)

ranger Sleuzen and Curly Lisa- I am sorry about the jobs. These is hard times. Kurt's comapny just got cut in half, although luckily he kept his job and insurance because we would be so screwed without it (as in living with his parents). I know something will happen for you guys, but it is so hard until it does. Lisa- I'm still angry about the firing- so LAME!!!!!!!!!!

I told jack the same thing, and he yelled, "WOW! You're gonna see Jess from Washington? The crazy scientist with the neat cats? Move over!"

The other day, i went to the grocery and signed my check SLEEZEN %*#**%@. They rejected it. I had to make out a new check! Yous guys are infltering my real life, whatever that is!

And, Snow? It has become a dirty word. When I was younger, i skiid and iceskated and loved the snow. Now, it just means I can't go outside. And I hate the snow! Sorry!

      Not necessarily. The "Gluten Free" label means not more than 20ppm of gluten in the product which is often not enough for super sensitive celiacs. You would need to be looking for "Certified Gluten Free" (GFCO endorsed) which means no more than 10ppm of gluten. Having said that, "Gluten Free" doesn't mean that there will necessarily be more gluten than "Certified...

      I think it is wise to seek a second opinion from a GI doc and to go on a gluten free diet in the meantime. The GI doc may look at all the evidence, including the biopsy report, and conclude you don't need anything else to reach a dx of celiac disease and so, there would be no need for a gluten challenge. But if the GI doc does want to do more testing, you...

I wish I had known of this at the time of her diagnosis, life would have been much easier.  I hope you are able to figure out.

Mainly he kept saying his legs were shaking. Is this a gluten exposure symptom that anyone else gets? Also the bad behavior?

      I think it is wise to seek a second opinion from a GI doc and to go on a gluten free diet in the meantime. But if the GI doc does want to do more testing, you can worry about the gluten challenge at that time. But between now and the time of the appointment, if your symptoms improve on a gluten free diet, that is more evidence. Just keep in mind that if a gluten challenge is called for, the bare minimum challenge length is two weeks of the daily consumption of at least 10g of gluten, which is about the amount found in 4-6 slices of wheat bread. But, I would count on giving it four weeks to be sure.
