OMG.....we need Jaghnutt to go back into the archives.....or Leeeesargh to give V a concise summary/recap....... ..Vynsegnt, it all has to do with Jyesss sitting, alone and drunk, one night in the wee hours before her computer, typing out a stream-of-consciousness post that at some point involved chickens, which she typed as "civkcebs"......man, did I guffaw my way through that group of posts.....Jaghnutt, ya need to find those! :lol:

Uggghhh . . . looks what happens when you dive into the archives a few times . . . you develop an itch a niche. I will say it used to be a lot easier, but Scott changed the search engine and add in the number of ways we now spell civkeb and it complicates things. Does anyone remember how Jess originally spelled it?

I'll see what I can do . . . no promises.

OK, could nae remember the original spelling . . . actually tried to search a few civkrb options but failed miserably. You know what worked? I did my search on "Jess" & "wine". Had to actually go through quite a few posts until I found it . . . ummmm, Jess, you may want to do something about that "wine" problem that you've got :lol: :lol: :lol:

Does anyone remember the 'stupid sign guy' from a couple years back? He's been running for various offices for the last few years - he got three votes for sewer commissioner - and he's currently running for some state senate position.

Apparently my group of friends aren't the only ones who find him ridiculous....

In another forum that I hang in (well I am down to three that I am active in anymore) we have a thing called karma we give out to good/funny/helpful posts. IF I COULD do that here, this one has good karma reward written all over it.! B)

      I know what you mean. When I get glutened I have severe gut cramps and throw up for 2-3 hr. and then have diarrhea for another several hours. Avoid eating out if at all possible.       Okay went online to check green mountain k cups .It was said that the regular coffees are fine but they couldn’t guarantee cross contamination.with the flavors. im trying to figure out since I eliminated the suyrup so far so good. I’m hoping. thanks it feels good to listen to other people there views.

      Thank you I will i have been on a strict gluten free diet ever since I got diagnosed but sometimes places lie about there food so there r some things that do get contaminated which causes me to throw up on end for several hours until I can't hold myself up anymore

But joint pain may also be caused by other medical problems such as rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, etc. Make sure you share these concerns with your physician so that he or she can initiate testing or make referrals to specialists...

When you are forced to eat out at a new restaurant that you are not sure is safe, try to order things that you can be sure will not get cross contaminated like a boiled egg, baked potatos, steamed vegies, fresh fruit. Yes, I know that doesn't sound as appetizing as pizza or a burger and fries but your health is at stake. I also realize that as a 14 year old you don't have a lot of control over where you eat out because you are tagging along with others or adults are paying for it. Do you have support from your parents concerning your need to eat gluten free? Do you believe they have a good understanding of the many places gluten can show up in the food supply?
