Does anyone know if the buffalo wings & bleu cheese dressing are gluten free? As far as I can tell, they are but I want to be sure. Thanks!

I have no idea :( I am not brave enough to even find out. The thought of cc is what scares me away. All of thought flour floating around! Maybe someone else knows. I hate to say this :ph34r: but it is easy (but time consuming, the wings are in the oven for an hour) to make your own. I know, it is not as convient but it is safer.

I know Buffalo Wild Wings are gluten-free except for a couple obvious ones (teriyaki and asian -- something along those lines). You have to get the sauce on the side though, they mix all varieties in the same place .... I learned that lesson the hard way!

I wouldn't eat anything that came out of Dominos. The flour scares me ... if I get a cup of coffee at Panera Bread, I wipe out the mug really well before I get my coffee. Flour just floats ...

Some blue cheese is gluten-free, others are not. It really depends on how they get the mold for the cheese. Sometimes it comes from bread. Since I'm casein intolerant, I've never learned how to tell the difference, but I remember Richard/lovegrov going over it once.

Be careful, there are a couple sauces that are not and YOU MUST GET THE SAUCE ON THE SIDE!!!!!

You can also ask the manager/server to have them toss the wings in a clean bowl and it is ok. I hate it when I have to dip the wings in the sauce.

Also, the buffalo chips are not gluten free as they are fried in a "dirty" fryer (i.e. other gluten containing products in the fryer), but you can take them home frozen from BW3 -- just ask the manager and tell them you want to bake/fry them at home. They will sell them to you.

Actually I am pretty sure they are not gluten-free and that they use flour in their sauce.

I am trying to verify that for you, but the file on their website is corrupt.

But I do remember, in my early days, looking them up and being disappointed because they were NOT gluten-free.

Gluten is found in any food product that is made using wheat, rye, barley or oats. This also includes breaded or flour-based food products. Because of our product mix and preparation, we cannot guarantee that any menu items are completely gluten-free

I know many of us eat there with no problem, it's just a couple of their sauces that have gluten, and they all get contaminated unless you get the sauce on the side or ask for a clean bowl like Brocobux said. I just get the wings and celery. I get the sauce on the side because it's the one place I can just be "normal" and not drill the server ... but I don't mind dipping.

I just talked to them on the phone last month -- the representative told me that the mild, medium, spicy garlic and hot sauces are gluten free.

I actually buy them by the bottle at the "carry-out" portion of the restaurant.

The sauce is gluten free - per BW3 email and BW3 representative and my lack of symptoms :)

p.s. Agree with what CarlaB said -- also, every restaurant has to make that disclaimer -- otherwise, they open themselves up to liability and litigation.

So no good info on Dominos? My daughter has a fundraiser involving Dominos & we order from them once a month when they have it. My husband, of course, doesn't get anything. I was hoping he could have some buffalo wings.

Sorry, don't know about Dominos ... but Chris, there are other flavors that are gluten-free, too, maybe you just checked out your favorites? I like the honey bbq, and it's fine -- no reaction.

Except for BW3s (which I used to looooooove), every wing place we have checked out all fries their wings in fryers that fry other gluten containing ingredients (usually breaded appetizers). I don't know anything else about Domino's menu as I haven't eaten there in years, but just wanted to put that risk out there.

I think I got it off of a bag of chicken wings or Frank's Red Hot sauce :ph34r: I never claimed to be creative in the kitchen!

2 1/2 lbs. chicken wing pieces

1/2 cup Frank's Ret Hot sauce

1/3 cup melted butter or margarine

Bake wings at 425 for one hour or deep fry 12 minutes at 400. Combine sauce and butter. After wings have cooked dip in sauce to coat.

I always bake the wings (do not have a fryer) and they always turn out gret.

Well, we went for it. Bill had the bbq chicken wings last night & loved them. I talked to the manager when I called & I think it went well. He'll have them again next time.

      This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

      I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
