I have always been a major gum chewer... I work with clients all day long and my breath has to be fresh... anyone know if sugar free chewing gum like trident or orbit (my favs) are gluten free? I can't tell by the ingredients they list... all tech names.

I'm pretty sure almost all Wrigley gums are gluten-free. I chew Winterfresh...and then also Altoids.

Awesome thanks!! Not to sound stupid but I keep seeing this list mentioned... where can it be found so I don't have to keep bugging you guys about every single product?

Glee Gum is my favorite. It's free of all the artificial junk too. :)

Thanks for bringing this up. I miss chewing gum too...I assumed it was all kind of starched up in something glutinous, since you can see something powdery on most chewing gum. I've avoided it all since February, and I was just wondering last night if there were any safe chewing gums! I want some...gonna go buy some today!!!!

I was finally able to find this in a health food store a couple of towns up. The owner had to order the Peppermint for me. Just got it--haven't tried it yet :)

I went to the glee gum site and liked what I saw... I'll probably order some... does it stick to dental work? I have a flipper replacing a tooth I knocked out and some gums get stuck to it... while others don't...

Hmm....I have a wire retainer thing on the back of my teeth and it doesn't stick to that. I don't chew it that often though (but I do like it. it's good stuff :) )

I don't chew any gum, but I'm a big mint fan. Tic-Tacs are gluten-free:) I could not survive w/out them.

Thanks @Beverage for checking in!  I haven't changed the dogs' food yet.  I'm still working through some of the other issues that I need to remedy (transitioning to an anti-inflammatory diet, being sure to get only gluten-free certified items, and buying some new cookware for my kitchen).  Somewhere after that, I have on my list to try out the dogs on a new dog food, but I haven't gotten there yet.  In the meantime, though, I can definitely see that some of my worst days seem to follow when there's a possibility of gluten cross-contamination (I'm still working to cut waaay down on these instances) OR when I eat anything with dairy/ milk protein in it.  So I think I need to really get a better handle on my day-to-day eating habits to reduce all gluten cross-contamination into my food and also any dairy intake, and then at that point, I think I'll start moving over to the dog food thing.

Sounds like fun, and I was in Germany a few years ago so you might find these articles helpful:

I don't think you have the URL/site address correct, as there is nothing at that site.

Hello All I am traveling to Germany in October and will be in Berlin, Rothenburg ODT , Salzburg, Fussen and Munich.  I am also driving the northern part of the romantic road with stops in some of the smaller towns along the way.  I would really appreciate any recommendations for gluten-free friendly places, restaurants and any gluten-free beer gardens.  Thanks in advance, Laura
