Hi mal- Good question. I don't know about acrylic nails but I do know that all the OPI naiil polishes (not the clear nail strengtheners- just the colors) are gluten-free.

Nantzie Collaborator

I had reactions with acrylics, but there are others who don't.

i don't know about acrylics but I do know the OPI strengtheners are not gluten-free. I too would like to know about the acrylics.

WAIT! WHAT? OPI Nail Envy is not gluten-free...that is my favorite product!!

I know I know, me too (Nail Envy). It wasn't the last time I checked, but maybe it's changed. You could contact the company and see what they say. I know their colored ones are, but as of a year ago, Nail Envy was not.

I don't know if you found your answer yet. First my suggestion is to call the salon you usually get your nails done at and ask what acrylic they use. OPI, Creative, and there's more but my mind is in a fog right now. Also be aware if you do go to a TOTAL asian salon they tend to just say 'we use the good stuff'. I just called my representative that i get my nail supplies from about OPI and I'm waiting to hear back from her.

Thank you that’s really helpful, hopeful won’t have to have a biopsy.

That means the normal range (i.e. not celiac disease) would be a result less than 14.99.  Your result is WAY above that. Some gastroenterologists would diagnose that as celiac disease even without a confirming biopsy because it is more than ten times the top of the normal range.

Hi everyone. Back in 2022 I had blood work drawn for iga ext gliadin. Since then I’ve developed worse stomach issues and all other health issues. My doctor just said cut out gluten. He did no further testing. Please see my test results attached. I just need some direction cause I feel so ill and the stomach pain is becoming worse. Can this test show indications for other gastrointestinal diseases?

Thank you. These were the results TTG ABS NUMERICAL: > 250.0 U/mL [< 14.99]  Really don’t understand the results!

Clearly from what you've said the info on Dailymed is much more up to date than the other site, which hasn't been updated since 2017. The fact that some companies might be repackaging drugs does not mean the info on the ingredients is not correct.
