Hey, I'm from the middle of Nebraska. I'm 15 and the whole farm kids drive when they're 14 thing is true here. I have been driving for 1 1/2 years legally. (Well only to school and back).

I know a couple people with Celiac around here, but one of them is like 50 somethin and the other is in college and I've only talked to her once or twice.

heyyy i live in bc, canada.

i found out that i had celiacs 5 days ago.. yes thats right, 5 days lol

its probably been one of the hardest things i've ever had to do, giving up all the food i used to love

but im doing okay.

and i only know one onther person with celiacs..

anyone else from bc??

I'm from Florida. really wish I vould find a Celiac my age around here. All I know are about 2 Celiacs, and there both old and one of them is my dad!! yikes!!

Well, I'm still a teen for a few more months!

I am living right now in Cambridge, MA which is right across the river from Boston. I go to school right outside of Boston and occasionally go home to north Georgia.

      Do Gluten Enzymes actually work?

      I agree, unfortunately a gluten challenge means intentional gut damage and inflammation to those with celiac disease, and taking lots of AN-PEP enzymes could potentially decrease this and skew the results, although I've not seen specific studies on this idea.

      Going for upper endoscopy today

      Just be sure that she continues eating lots of gluten daily for at least 2 weeks before the endoscopy, otherwise going gluten-free beforehand could create false negative results.

      Her results only showed greater then 100 which over 10 is considered positive. But American standards still recommend the endoscopy to confirm. And the Dr explained to us both the European and American standards and asked us what we wanted to do. We figured since it’s still recommended here, do the endoscopy so Insurance can’t argue anything in the fut...

For snacks that fill you up, look for protein bars with simple ingredients, higher protein, and lower added sugars — reading labels is key on GF bars since “gluten-free” doesn’t always equal healthy. Pairing a salad with a quality protein bar when you’re unsure about a restaurant’s GF safety is a great strategy to avoid symptoms while still feeling nourished.

You deserve care that looks at the full picture, not quick conclusions, and it’s okay to keep advocating for yourself or seek a provider who truly understands complex autoimmune cases. You’re not imagining this, and you’re not alone.
