Rant About Classmates

Today was just an overall bad day for me...like honestly, since i've been up this morning everything that could go wrong has.

First of all: I've been achy all day (because it had started to snow early this morning, got a few inches of snow already, and they are threatening another 6 to 10 inches by tomorrow night). And of course the more it snows, the more joint pain I feel in my back and wrist.

Then, on my walk to school this afternoon, I have an asthma attack (not severe, but bad enough that I was wheezing pretty heavy by the time i got there, and nearly passed out).

During my first class, computers, THE best subject of mine...I discover I have done half of our major assignment wrong, so I'm gonna have to redo it on my own personal time (when I should be doing other work).

Then during my next class, I discover that the 15 or so questions I did were all wrong, but I used the number of sales instead of numbers of production, so I have to redo them ALL for wednesday.

Then during supper break, there was a few of us still in the classroom, and one lady was outside the door (which was locked). My hands were full so I couldnt exactly go and open it for her, but yet i was the one who got _______ at(you can fill in the blank :P ) for not opening the door!!!

SO supper was late, and i dig in my bag....NO PILLS. I forgot them at the house here in Yorkton. and by the time I warmed my instant macaronni meal and a piece of bread I was already late for my last class.

And then, for my last class of the night, I found out that the due dates on some take-home quizzes were changed, NOBODY informed me of this(I missed out the last class on that info because I was in the bathroom--like i would be anywhere else!!)

So now I'm grumpy with too much homework to do and have to eat yet again to feel more pain yet take my medication. ARGHHH :angry:

*shuts up now*

I'm sorry that your day was so bad. I to have been having a lot of those lately. Just remember tomorrow is abother day! And if today was horrible most likely tomorrow will be better.

just curious where do you go to school that you don't go until the afternoon?

Geez, what a mess of a day. Sorry it was so rotten.

Unfortunately, compassion is only truly learned through experience.

Thanks (to Nancy and Ursula too!) for being supportive...

I go to a community college, and all my teachers have jobs during the day of the classes they teach (like for exactly, my auditing teacher is an auditor, my law teacher is a lawyer, etc).

Yeah, that sounds super familiar. When inflammation levels are high — especially at the start of changing your diet — the body often develops a fructose and lactose intolerance. Unfortunately, the only thing that really helps is cutting out anything that isn’t lactose-free or that contains sugar. So basically, stick to meat, veggies, fish…

I have trouble with nausea. It often starts when I’m anxious about something (home repairs, sick dog) but continues long after the home is repaired or the dog is healthy again. When it happens I eat less and lose weight.  My gastroenterologist suggested ginger or peppermint tea. I don’t know if that will work or not because I haven't had the problem since she suggested it.

Hello  I'm not sure what to think . Seems no matter what I do I get sick. I had some yogurt with only 2 grams of sugar and is labeled gluten free ...the strawberry version seemed to really set me off My jaw is burning as well as my stomach and my feet.  Horrible pain..plus acid reflux and nausea... sensitivity to touch pain. ..yikes !! I don't know if it's from the lactose in the yogurt or if I'm getting an ulcer  This condition can make you question yourself quite a bit.  Then if you are not sure the anxiety comes 😞 Does any of these symptoms sound familiar to anyone? The neuropathy is quite intense.  What do you eat or drink after this happens  Open to suggestions  Thank you

Of course my son is on a 100% gluten free diet.  I wish his symptoms were not debilitating as there are right now.  He cannot work, even when a miniscule of cross contamination occurs.  It's not just GI distress, but intense fatigue, brain fog, depression, anxiety, insomnia, etc.  It's literally neurological inflammation.  Not to be taken lightly here.  We have sought out many other possible ways to cope during this window of time (8 months!!!!)  without success.   AN-PEP does not help and seems like studies on this are not well researched.  So, we are trying this out because research shows some promising results.  And, all participants showed no cravings afterwards, no signs of addiction.  The patch is different than the oral route such as smoking, vaping, gum, pouch, etc.

Have you tried AN-PEP enzymes, for example, GlutenX (who is a sponsor here)? A lot of research has shown that it can break down small amounts of gluten in the stomach, before it reaches the intestines. It might be a better approach than risking nicotine addiction, and the questionable research around this. I also hope that he’s trying to be 100% Gluten-Free.
