My test for Vitamin D deficency is positive. It is 18 norm is 32-100.The PTH and Full Celiac panel are negative.

What does this mean? What else could this be? As in an earlier post I'm 43 wih Osteoporosis. Any insight would be helpful.

Thanks Susan

Until you have more of a context to put it in, all this means is that you are Vitamin D deficient.

"Healthy" people can be deficient in certain vitamins. Or, people with multiple issues can be deficient. However, those with undx'ed Celiac have malabsorption, which can explain, for those people the vitamin deficiencies.

We'll look forward to your results on Monday.

Did he run the full panel? What were your numbers for all five tests? What are the reference ranges?

Even if it is negative, it wouldnt hurt to try the diet.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
