Holy Cow!!! It's about time you showed up. We were all worried when you left us with some unsettling news. Now fuss is over.

I am not sure, but scraping the bone so that it would be smooth to that is could fuse together and mend itself.

Lister, there is medical finances available for those who are not able to pay.

I know we have medical insurance peep out there.

You need an MRI dude, or atleast xrays. I'm glad you're back. Maybe you can fill us in on what's going on later.

Lisa

PS: glad everything was negative. But, not to lecture, use precaution next time. ;)

Hi Lister,

Gee, a lot of us have been worried about you! I'm so glad to hear the test was negative--what a relief!!

Sorry, I don't know about the scraping--I hope you can work out some way to get the MRI. Would be best to know exactly what you're dealing with. I know it's tough for you, though.

Anyway, it's good to hear from you again :)

Lister I am so sorry to hear this.

You need to call the doctors office and talk to a nurse as soon as you can. They will explain fully what they are going to do, what you can expect painwise, how long it will take to recover. I can assure you whatever they are doing they will make you comfortable before hand. I would also suggest that you get ahold of your Human Services Depts and see if you qualify for emergency medical assistance. You very well may if this injury prevents you from working and they may even cover next weeks work. Never hurts to check.

I am glad to hear that all was clear on the other front and hope you recover from this soon.

Lister, I missed this before. Glad the results turned out favorably!

Hello, I was very stick,  with flu like symptoms, but my virus panel came back negative and we couldn’t figure out what’s going on. The doctor then added a celiac panel.  Has anyone ever had such a dramatic change?  What are the odds this is true celiac I am going to have an endoscopy, but it’s expensive and I just feel like why can’t the labs be enough?

Eating out in general is full of risks, but this article may help:

This kind of question is always difficult to give a definitive answer to because of so many variables. One such variable is the sensitivity of the individual celiac to small amounts of gluten cross contamination. An amount that causes a reaction in one celiac many not in another, or at least not be discernable which, of course, does not exactly equate to being "safe".

I don't live in the US, but based on this thread, I wouldn't risk it:   https://www.reddit.com/r/glutenfree/comments/1n2ehw8/cracker_barrel/   This app is helpful: https://www.findmeglutenfree.com/

I see that Cracker Barrel restaurants have a gluten free menu (not all locations, but one confirmed that they do). I was wondering if it is safe for my 5 year old son with celiac disease?
