gluten-free Ice Cream Cones?

Is there any such thing as gluten-free ice cream cones? My son's daycare is having an ice cream party on Friday, with ice cream cones. I'm obviously going to supply the rice ice cream (he's allergic to milk, too) and some Enjoy Life chocolate chips as a topping. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if he has to have his in a bowl since that's how he's always had ice cream, but it would be nice to have something similar as the other kids, I think.

Barkat makes gluten-free waffle cones. We haven't tried them yet.

Barkat also makes gluten free regular ice cream cones. My daughter LOVES these! We go to our local McDonalds and they put fresh gloves on and fill it up for her. She thinks this is the biggest treat EVER. They're a little pricey, but one box will last you half the summer. I got mine through gluten free.com and they were here overnight (I live in PA).

There's also a brand called "Cerone Cones". I don't have the package anymore, so I can't get all the info for you. They're expensive, but really good. I got them at a health food store.

It is spelled Cerrone cones for the family's last name. The cones are great. I heard they were going to merge with gluten free pantry. I haven't found them in a store since. I still have the last box for reference Gluten-Free Pantry 800-291-8386 or Open Original Shared Link free.com or Open Original Shared Link

Have a great party!

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.

I hope you are on the mend soon. About 1 in 5 people who contracted chicken pox as a child go on to develop shingles in later life - it is not uncommon. There are 5 known members of the herpes virus family including chicken pox that commonly infect humans, and they all cause lifelong infections. The exact cause of viral reactivation as in the case of shingles or cold sores is not well understood, but stress, sunburn and radiotherapy treatment are known triggers. Some of the herpes viruses are implicated in triggering autoimmune diseases: Epstein-Barr virus is suspected of triggering multiple sclerosis and lupus, and there is a case where it is suspected of triggering coeliac disease. As to whether coeliac disease can increase the likelihood of viral reactivation, there have been several cohort studies including a large one in Sweden suggesting that coeliac disease is associated with a moderate increase in the likelihood of developing shingles in people over the age of 50. US 2024 - Increased Risk of Herpes Zoster Infection in Patients with Celiac Disease 50 Years Old and Older Sweden 2018 - Increased risk of herpes zoster in patients with coeliac disease - nationwide cohort study
