Blue Diamond Almond Thin Crackers

Yesterday, I saw on someone's entry that Blue Diamond almond thin crackers were among their favorite products, but when I saw them today at a health food store, the box indicated that the product was made in a factory where there might be wheat. YET, the box indicated that they were supporters of Celiac Disease Foundation! What is the truth here? Anybody know?

I'm trying to find a good tasting cracker and this brand seems to be recommended a lot.

Well i ate them not seeing they were made with other wheat products. And I got really sick from them. I got glutened plus i got sick cause they have dairy in them. I will never ever eat them again. But i do alot of other people that love them

These have a high risk of CC. It is nice that they support the foundation but IMHO the best support they could give would be to not produce these in the same place as gluten ingredients. It's a crap shoot, no pun intended, with items with that disclaimer, sometimes they may be okay, sometimes they won't. If you are early in your healing stages personally I would skip these.

      Hi there @MCAyr I have a small umbilical hernia which came about during my second pregnancy.   I can just about see it, and feel it, when I stand or sit, but it is far less noticeable when I lie down.  I always know when I am putting on weight because I can get pain and burning near the site, funnily enough not on the hernia itself but either side!  I would imagine bloating could cause the same effect as weight gain. In my case I don't think it is my bowel protruding but a bit of fat  - sorry,  I realise this isn't painting a very pretty picture.  But in truth it is scarcely noticeable.  It has never really got bigger in size. I was rather hoping that it could be operated on but here in the UK they don't seem to operate on every hernia anymore.  My GP isn't remotely worried about it. In a way, I should be thankful - it is like an early warning system that I need to go on a diet! Cristiana

      The hernia description would likely be unrelated to celiac disease, but you'd need to get it checked out by your doctor to be sure it's a hernia.
