A Few More Questions

Hi everybody :)

I'm on day three without gluten. No positive difference yet, but I do feel *worse*. Now, I've felt this way many times before so it may be completely unrelated to gluten... But many talk about gluten withdrawal symptoms, who knows... What kind of symptoms did you lot have, if any?

Anyway. I mailed Enterolab and asked about the possibilities for international tests, and they are OK with it, but I obviously have to pay for the shipping myself.

So, I wonder: How big is the package you send back, and approx weight? Plus, if anyone has experience with international shipping, that'd be great. I did some basic research, but the costs were WAY too high; even though the package would arrive 1 day too late, it'd cost me about $400 - IN SHIPPING! I'd rather do the elimination diet than to pay a total of... $850 or so to find out what I might already know by then!

Hi, I am in Norway and I sent a sample (tiny ) of blood to England, to Yorktest. It was sent by mail and I have no idea about the cost as it was part of the package (test kit was sent from Norway, an office of yorktest)

How should the specimen to enterolab be handled, and what are you sending (.....)

I wa kinda thinking about the gene test, they can only tell me DQ2 or 8 here, I was tested at the research lab (for celiac and other DR genetic stuff) here.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
