Do you use it instead of mixing all of the other flours to bake with? Can you fry up some chicken nuggets with it?

Soon we're headed to Whole Foods to buy the staples to bake with. Does everyone here find it cheaper in the long run to buy in bulk online (if so..whats the website and once shipping is added..are u really saving money?) or are you fine just buying a bag or so here and there at a speciality store??

Thanks!

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks gluten-free and she STILL hasn't gained any weight!

We're still waiting for her lactose intolerent test to come back...if it's positive...my DD will freak out not getting to have cheese or cereal in the morning. I've stressed SO much...I went to the Dr. yesterday about the big, itchy bump on my back and I have shingles. ARGHHH!!!

Soy flour can have a pretty strong taste - I would only use it blended with outher types of flour.

I never use soy flour alone. I do like to use about 2/3 mix of rice flour plus a few other flours plus 1/3 soy flour in things like cake. The soy flour is very smooth and helps even out the more gritty rice flour.

I took my 3 yr old off milk about a month ago. She was a cheese freak. We switched her to soy milk (Silk) brand, soy yogurt that we get at Wal-Mart and soy cheese also at Wal-mart. She never noticed the difference. I tried it myself and it is really good. It tastes just like reg. milk and the vanilla one tastes like coffee creamer. Yummy. My DH bought the chocolate one this week and she had it this morning and asked for more. I was really surprised at the taste as I was a real milk drinker. I can't have it anymore as I have a soy issue but the baby loves it. :D

This treatment looks promising. Its aim is to provoke immune tolerance of gluten, possibly curing the disease. It passed the phase 2 trial with flying colours, and I came across a post on Reddit by one of the study volunteers. Apparently, the results were good enough that the company is applying for fast track approval.  Anokion Announces Positive Symptom Data from its Phase 2 Trial Evaluating KAN-101 for the Treatment of Celiac Disease https://www.reddit.com/r/Celiac/comments/1krx2wh/kan_101_trial_put_on_hold/

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.
