I think I put too much liquid in? It came out like a flat bread, but was soggy in the center.

Probably too much fluid. Chebe is very sensitive and it should still seem crumbly when you start to knead it by hand. Also, make sure it's not too thick when you bake it, or the outside will burn while the inside is squishy. I have used that mix with success in the past, so I would say keep trying. For now, cut off the cooked part and cook the soggy part longer?

I also tried to make some baguette type rolls with Chebe, and it was a disaster. I made bread crumbs from the results. People have raved about this product, I'm not really impressed. Perhaps like you, I also may have done something wrong.
