I'm wondering if there are any Australian support groups available? <_<

There are a lot od brand differences here and I need some directions.

Maybe even other Aussies with celiac disease could email each other or something???

Any clues please?

Maggie

Sorry Maggie

I have only just seen your post.

I live in NSW and know that there are local support groups covering most of this state. I would think the situation would be the same in QLD.

You would need to contact "The Coeliac Society of Queensland" to find out your closest one.

Hi Maggie,

I'm in central west NSW, I would be happy to to use this forum or email to talk about aussie issues and celiac disease.

where shall we start?

Louie :)

Hi fellow Ozzies.

I love our Coeliac Society of NSW and cannot praise them highly enough. The Australia-wide society is Open Original Shared Link

Unfortunately they don't have a forum, hence my landing here.

Happy to discuss anything and everything.

Cheers.

Hello from new zealand. We have the coeliac society here too, but probably not much more than that. That is why I am here too.

The Lindt (Lindor) dairy-free oat milk truffles are definitely gluten-free, and (last time I checked) so are the white chocolate truffles and the mint chocolate truffles.

I've used magnesium taurinate and magnesium taurate vitamins.  Didn't notice much of a difference when I used them.

More great tips, and a good excuse to shop at M&S and also buy more iced buns!   I wish we had an ASDA near us, as the few times we've been to one their gluten-free pasta range seemed very reasonably priced compared to other shops.  Thanks so much, @Russ H.
