You guys...good grief.

I just checked Hotmail, and when I went to clean out my junk in-box, here is what I found:

From OnStar: Your car wants to e-mail you.

Is this a common thing? Does everyone get e-mail from their car?

I didn't open the message...just in case my car wanted to cuss me out or something.

My day is off to an interesting start.

Hear is the ultimate question: Why can't my car talk to me in person if it has something to say?

Just for the record, I don't want to e-mail any of your cars either. :P

Happy driving. -Julie

hahaha

if you have onstar, it sends you emails if your car needs maitnence or something I think, but if you don't it's probably just trying to sell it to you :P

OMG. If my car could e-mail me, I'd never hear the end of it.

I need this, I need that, why haven't you done this for me yet, do you think I can live forever? And what is UP with those kids!? Have you SEEN what they've done to me!?

Oats naturally contain a protein called avenin, which is similar to the gluten proteins found in wheat, barley, and rye. While avenin is generally considered safe for most people with celiac disease, some individuals, around 5-10% of celiacs, may also have sensitivity to avenin, leading to symptoms similar to gluten exposure. You may fall into this category, and eliminating them is the best way to figure this out. Some people substitute gluten-free quinoa flakes for oats if they want a hot cereal substitute. If you are interested in summaries of scientific publications on the topic of oats and celiac disease, we have an entire category dedicated to it which is here: https://www.celiac.com/celiac-disease/oats-and-celiac-disease-are-they-gluten-free/
