My niece and nephew cant have soy, gluten or pineapple. Do you have any recipes that would exclude these. Usually I just make sweet and sour for ourselves but I dont know how to make it without pineapple.

Thanks :)

I made stir fry for my son's lunch today and used just salt, pepper and sesame oil(maybe 1/3 rosated and 2/3 plain).

This is the "sweet and sour" sauce that I use for chinese meatballs. I don't recommend it for stir fry.

3 Tb. sugar

1 tsp. soysauce(maybe used beef broth(verified gluten-free-I use Pacific) for the saltiness and depth of flavor that soysauce gives)

1 Tb. sake(make sure it's gluten-free)(or sub.)

3 Tb. rice vinegar

3Tb. tomato catsup(make sure it's gluten-free, I use Whole Foods 365)

2 Tb. dashi(soup stock) or water

1/3 tsp. salt

A little cornstarch mixed with water, added as needed after the above ingredients have come to a simmer. Add in meatballs.

Meatballs

1 lb. ground pork

minced onion

2/3 c. breadcrumbs( I use a little less now that I use gluten-free crumbs-they seem to expand more)

2 1/2 Tb. milk

1 egg

2/3 tsp. salt

dash nutmeg

dash pepper

Deep fry if possible to yield best results. Pan frying is fine.(do not fry in a deep fryer that has been used for gluten containing foods)

Lee Kum Kee makes an oyster sauce that you might be able to use. Just read labels carefully in the stores, they make quite a few kinds of oyster sauce and I had to look around at a few store before I found the one that's gluten-free.

sometimes I'll make stirfry without soysauce, and just use crushed red peppers (sautee them in the oil first briefly to release a bit of flavor), and some garlic (or ginger) and lemon (and honey to balance the flavors), onion, and a pinch of salt, plus plenty of fresh vegetables to compliment any meat that may be in the dish. works just fine.

I use orange juice, kosher salt, sesame oil, and honey and 1 clove of minced fresh garlic.

mix to taste :)

Many years ago yes, after eating and going to bed, apparently my esophagus filled with food that my body rejected, the esophagus would lay against the Heart sack (pericardium?) and the heart would respond by becoming arrhythmic. That went away with the strict diet.

I was commenting on the report saying it did not mention migraines! Yes it does last paragraph says have not seen any evidence that Celiac cause migraines! I thought this was about truth?

It has been known for some years that celiacs suffer from migraines at a higher rate than the general populatation. It is an established symptom.
