Gluten Free But.......

I am confused, what if something is gluten free but processed in a plant which processes other products which may contain wheat. Would you eat it?

there is two sides to your question. gluten-free & wheat products made in the same facility ; or. it can be made on two-separate lines in the same fac.

This is a individual question because some will use the product if they are produced on separate lines & others who are truly sensitive will not go near the stuff.

Everyone's tolerance is different so I don't think there is a correct answer to your question. It depends how the person.......some react quickly & have severe reactions while the next person may never have a problem.

Would you ever eat in a restaurant? Every restaurant I have ever been to is a "shared facility" which also processes gluten, usually bread. There is only one pool of dishes and utensils, which are washed between uses. These are "shared equipment."

You decide. There is no universal answer that fits every product and every consumer.

      I put on over 12kg by eating protein with every meal, 3 to 5 times a day. Eggs, Chicken, Tuna, Turkey etc. I stay away from too much red meat as it can be inflammatory. Scott is correct. I've come across a bunch of Coeliac PT's on Tiktok and Instagram. They all say the same thing, the key is getting enough protein and consistency.

      Trader Joe's carries a good variety of affordable gluten-free foods like bagels, hamburger buns, pasta, etc. I like Franz Gluten Free bread, which is available at my local Costco. Food For Life and Little Northern Bakehouse (advertisers here) also make excellent gluten-free breads. Costco also sells gluten-free pizzas, crackers, gravy, etc.
