Sorry, I'm a little confused.

Do you want to get an idea for the average rxn time to see if you possibly have another unknown intolerance?

Edit: To answer your question, it takes me close to a week before I feel completely over it.

It generally takes me about 3 weeks to fully recover. Each person is different, though, with some rebounding more quickly and some taking longer. It's highly individual.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, I admit that post was kindof asking two things at once

Longest I've taken was I think about three weeks, so one month seems to still be in the ball park...

ok.. I got you now :)

When I get glutened, I get a burning in my small intestine... right across my where my belly button is. And I get a headache... a throbbing one to be exact. I went for a few weeks where I would get the same burning sensation, and a mild headache, but was sure I hadn't had gluten. I paid attention and realized very quickly it was dairy... I don't recall ever being intolerant to dairy/casein, but now I am. So, it could very well be something else if you are very careful!

About three weeks for me. One week of my stomach hurting, one week of joint/muscle pain, one week of being very tired and grumpy. Luckily none of these symptoms are very severe so I can still go about my normal life.

I am going on 1 month tomorrow and still not doing any better. I CANT heal! It is driving me crazy. For the most part it only takes me 2 weeks max, but this time has killed me.

2.5 years on bone density drugs. I don't have a noticeable response.. until you check my bone density.

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
