I placed an order online from them for some gravy mix and faux cheese. I know I can make gravy from scratch, but it is nice to have something quick to fix. And they had a cream gravy. I was craving chicken fried steak. I tried the beef and loved it. Daughter said she didn't like it as much as she does my regular gravy. Odd though, she ate enough of it! The only difference I noticed was that it was much creamier than what I make. I made hamburger gravy with it and this time the only veg. I added was onion. I often add mushrooms, celery and/or Swiss Chard. So that could be why the flavor seemed different to her.

Tonight we had pizza. The pizza cheese is soooo good! Much more pizza-y than the rice cheese we normally use. I got some slices of American cheese. They were okay but no better than the rice cheese we can get at the health food store. I make the pizza using the small rice crusts from Ener-G. Top with some olive oil, tomato sauce straight from the can, bit of Italian seasoning and the cheese. Sometimes put Pepperoni, Ham or Canadian Bacon on daughter's or some veggies on mine.

Have yet to try the Parmesan but will be very happy if it is good.

Their website says their products are available at Kroger and other stores. We have store that are owned by Kroger here, but I haven't seen these products.

If you do order, be prepared to wait. For some reason it takes 4-6 weeks. The cheese happened to come on a very hot day and the cold pack enclosed was just barely cool. So I might wait until the weather is cooler to order again.

We love their chicken products, esp. the nuggets. You get alot in the package(of nuggets). Krogers around us carried them for a while, and at $1.99 a bag for a long time, but have stopped and only one store that I know of has them now :( and they're $5 something.

How much is shipping?

How much is shipping?

I can't remember how much the shipping was, but I don't think it was cheap.

We just tried the Parmesan tonight. Oh wow! Not only did it taste like the real thing, but it SMELLED like the real thing. I only wish they could have put it in a better container than the plastic bag it came in. It's not a resealable bag.

I was getting to the point of thinking I would puke if I had to face another plate of pasta. I had been using Parma!. It was okay but daughter wouldn't eat it. And I think we've been eating too much pasta because the last few times I made it there were a lot of leftovers. Nobody really wanted it. But tonight, daughter wolfed down her plate and went back for seconds. I wish I could have had seconds, but I'm diabetic and have to watch my carb intake.

I will certainly be placing another order for this cheese and this time I will get all the flavors. :D

Could you tell me if the "cheese" has tree nuts in it? Thank you!

Is there a digestive enzyme that helps build a healthier gut? I see people taking them but not sure what really works

So the tTG-IGA at 28 is positive for celiac disease. There are some other medical conditions that can cause elevated tTG-IGA but this is unlikely. There are some people for whom the dairy protein casein can cause this but by far the most likely cause is celiac disease. Especially when your small bowel lining is "scalloped". Your Serum IGA 01 (aka, "total IGA") at 245 mg/dl is within normal range, indicating you are not IGA deficient. But I also think it would be wise to take your doctor's advice about the sucraid diet and avoiding dairy . . . at least until you experience healing and your gut has had a chance to heal, which can take around two years. After that, you can experiment with adding dairy back in and monitor symptoms. By the way, if you want the protein afforded by dairy but need to avoid casein, you can do so with whey protein powder. Whey is the other major protein in dairy.

hi, i want to say thank you to you and @trents   . after 2 phone calls to my GI, her office called me back to tell me that a blood test was “unnecessary” and that we should “follow the gold standard” and since my biopsy did not indicate celiac, to follow the no dairy and sucraid diet. i luckily have expendable income and made an appt for the labcorp blood test that day. i just got my results back and it indicates celiac disease i think 😭   im honestly happy bc now i KNOW and i can go gluten free. and i am SO MAD at this doctor for dismissing me for a simple blood test that wouldn’t have cost her anything !!!!!!!!!!! im sorry, im so emotional right now, i have been sick my whole life and never knew why, i feel so much better already   my results from labcorp:   Celiac Ab tTG TIgA w/Rflx Test Current Result and Flag Previous Result and Date Units Reference Interval t-Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA 01 28 High U/mL 0-3 Negative 0 - 3 Weak Positive 4 - 10 Positive >10 Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) has been identified as the endomysial antigen. Studies have demonstrated that endomysial IgA antibodies have over 99% specificity for gluten sensitive enteropathy. Immunoglobulin A, Qn, Serum 01 245 mg/dL 87-352

      Thank you this really helped.

Okay that is really good to know. So with that being positive and the other being high it makes sense she diagnosed her even without the endoscopy. So glad we caught it early. She had so many symptoms though that to me it was clear something was wrong.   yeah I think we had better test us and the other kids as well.
