I was wondering if anyone has used tinkyada pasta for soup? I know when boiling the pasta the water becomes thick and starchy so it would be best to cook the pasta and then add it to the soup, but has anyone ever tried making a thincker soup by boiling the pasta right in it? I wanted to experiement with this. I have made just plain chicken broth with the pasta before is tastes good, so i thought maybe making a thicker soup or stew this way would taste good also.....

I've never done this with Tinkyada, but I have used Mrs. Leepers pasta in soups (cooked it in the broth) with excellent results. It doesn't seem to be quite as starchy as Tinkyada and holds up well done this way.

I make my own chicken noodle soup this way with Tinkyada pasta, and I really like how it comes out.

It really depends on what result you want. I prefer my pasta to be aldente and not have the starch in the soup, plus I don't want mushy pasta in it when I re-heat the leftovers the next day. So I cook the pasta separately and put some in the bowl, them ladle the soup over top. I save the extra pasta in a separate container and serve it the same way the next day.

I have tried it- not so great....although I love their pasta for everything else. I switched to the Thai Kitchen rice noodles in soup. They seem to do a bit better and they are ok if I freeze the soup and the thaw it.

thanks. yeah, it sees to be a preferance thing and what type of result you want.....

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
