Need Help With Store Bought Items

I am looking for a canned cream of mushroom soup that I can buy. Does anyone know of a particular brand that is gluten free? I need it to make a cabbage casserole.

Also looking for a prepackaged gluten free cornbread that is easy to make. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Wenmin

Progresso Creamy Mushroom Soup is gluten free. The Gluten Free Pantry has a corn bread mix that's ok. I usually add sugar, salt, sour cream, corn and green chili peppers to mine.

Whole Foods grocery store may have pre-made corn bread.

THANKS! I tried the cornbread from Whole Foods. It was OK, but it started to mold before I finished half of it. (and it was quite expensive!)

Oh yea, gluten-free items mold fast. I freeze all my bread items when I buy them. I package them into small serving sizes and then freeze. A sliced loaf of bread I lay out on a pan, place in the freezer for a few hours and then package back into a freezer ziploc bag. That way I can take out just one slice at a time.

When I make corn bread I let it cool, slice and wrap one or two pieces together. I then place all the wrapped pieces into a ziploc bag for the freezer.

You are so right that it's too expensive to waste.

Chi-Chi's Fiesta Sweet Corn Cake mix is gluten free. It's not as good as homemade, but I thought it was pretty good for a mix...and very inexpensive.

It can take longer than 6 months for antibodies to drop to the normal range,  My DGP IgA took a few years as I got stricter and stricter about being gluten free  But having symptoms again could also mean you’re getting some gluten in your diet.

Hi, I just had my 6 month check after being diagnosed Celiac 6 months ago.  All of my panel numbers were normal except: Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA (It is 31 with high being over 30)  I have also been having symptoms again. Am I not actually being as careful as I think I am or does it take longer than 6 months for this particular test to come back down?  I can't get ahold of my doctor this week as she is out.     Thank you!

That is very strange, because it looks to me like two very different test results, but for the same test! It's definitely time to contact your doctor for clarity on this.

Scott, thank you SO MUCH for this!! She has been through so much in the last three years as we've tried to track down answers. This language will definitely help me help her to reframe.
