Okay, surgery is coming up and I need some ideas on good liquid high calories and nutrients. I will be on a liquid/soft diet for 6 wks and need some variety because I get bored with foods very fast :)

*Mashed Potatoes

*Chicken Broth

*Beef Broth

*Turkey Broth (u get the picture here broths made of meat :) )

*Veggies cooked and put through a food grinder

*baby foods

*Milk Shakes

*Smoothies

*Liquid vitamin (not sure which ones are gluten-free, but I'm sure you can check that out)

*Juices

There are a few things. I'm sure no matter what you have it will get old eating soft things for that long. Good luck with your surgery. Is it for TMJ? I have that too, jaw is always poppin :blink: It freaks people out! ha :D

Yeah Ensure Plus has 350 calories in 1 bottle. They taste good chilled. :D

It is for sleep apnea, I have already had my tonsils out and this is the next step. June 24th :)

Can you have dairy? Ice cream. Frozen fruit put into the blender with some sugar (or sweetener of your choice). Pudding. Jello. Baby food.

Yes I can have dairy, but I don't like ice cream, I know I am weird but...

      Shingles is dormant and related to chicken pox when one has had in the past.Shingles comes out when stress is heightened.I had my 3rd Shingles in 2023.
